So I think I'm over my cold. Thank the lord. I also tried sticky buns with the pecans all over them for the first time, and they were great. Oh, and Malum will be in this chapter...
My mom was home. This is bad. This is so bad. Ashton couldn't meet my mom. Not yet! I mean, yeah, I met Anne-Marie, but Ashton can't meet Liz yet. Our relationship will be over before it even started!
And then I got to thinking. Ashton and I have barely been talking, and now I'm questioning our relationship? I mean, what are we. I'm afraid to ask Ashton because if it doesn't go well, things can take a turn for the worst.
"That must be Liz..." Ashton trailed, looking at me. I stare back and nod, emotionless.
"Lucifer! Why is there an SUV in the driveway?" Her voice was getting closer.
Before I had any time to move, she barged into my room and looked directly at us.
"Luke, why is- ohh. Hello. I guess that answers my question. You are?" She looks at Ashton, who's smiling brightly at her.
"Luke's boyfriend." He answered and I blushed. My boyfriend. He's my boyfriend.
"Oh, Lucas never told me about a boyfriend. He talks about an Ashton, but never mentioned a boyfriend." God, mother. Please stop talking.
"I'm Ashton." He smirked. Liz smirked in return and moved to close the door. And just when I thought she was about to leave, she opened it again.
"Feel free to stay the night, but don't be too loud. I have work early in the morning." She winked and closed the door. I blushed and whined, hiding my face in his shoulder and he laughed.
"I like your mom, she's funny." He commented.
"Well, yeah, but that's the thing. She treats me more has a friend than as a son. And then she's always working or hanging out with her girlfriends. It's like I don't have a mom and I'm left raising myself." I frowned. Ashton seemed to understand where I was coming from.
"I'm sorry, love. But hey, it could be worse. She cares about you, maybe not the motherly kind of care and more like the roommate kind of relationship, but at least she's there," he said, rubbing my side. "Besides, she'll let us do whatever we want as long as we're quiet." He then winked and wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
"Yup. Drinking soda after 9:30!" I joked, earning a laugh from Ashton.
"I was think more on the lines of going out and buying a bunch of junk food at the corner store, then watch some Netflix or some shit." He shrugged. A grin creeped upon my face and I giggled.
"You're definition of fun is very similar to mine." I said in realization.
"We're not that different on the inside than we are on the out, babe." He said pointedly.
"Yeah, but you're still a cocky son of a bitch." I smirked, sticking my tongue out at him. He rolled his eyes fondly and sat up.
"A facade, remember?" He stood up and pulled me off the bed, turning off the TV.
"Then my nerdiness is an act." I counteracted. He snorted and slung his arm over my shoulders.
"No, babe. It's not," He chuckled and lead me out of my room. "Bye, Liz! Don't wait up on us!"
"Bye, boys! Don't get arrested or do drugs!" She called back. Oh god, I couldn't wait to get out of here.

Ashton's carrying all sorts of snacks in his arms, and I'm the reason for that. He's just walking right behind me, catching the snacks I toss his way.
"Chocolate milk party!" I squealed and grabbed a quart of TruMoo. Ashton chuckled and ushered me towards the checkout.
"Alright, let's get you home. You've lived on the edge for long enough." He muttered sarcastically. I scoffed and put the milk on the counter, helping Ashton put our other stuff there.
The clerk, about a few years older than us, looked between me and Ashton then smiled.a
"Cute." She smirked and began scanning our items. Ashton beamed and wrapped his arms around my waist, kissing the back of my neck. I giggled and put my hands over his, lacing our fingers together.
Some people may think we're moving too fast, but I could really care less right now.
The door chimed and the laughing and giggling of two guys caught my attention. Apparently, it caught Ashton's, too because he turned around when I did.
Michael Clifford was at the doorway, holding a boy's hand. And there was no doubt that that boy was Calum.
"Luke?" Calum asked confusedly, cocking his head to the side.
"Irwin," Michael smirked, looking me up and down. "I'm sorry. I don't believe we've formally met." He said to me.
"I-I'm Luke." I stuttered, not taking my eyes off of him. There's an uncomfortable aura around us and the only sound that could be heard was the cashier's gum popping obnoxiously loud.
"Sorry," she apologized when we all turned to look at her. "This unspoken tension was just too awkward. I had to get your minds off it." She shrugged and bagged our items.
"When did this happen?" Calum asked, gesturing to me and Ashton.
"Not too long ago. What about you guys?" Ashton answered for me.
"Same." Michael shrugged, still smirking lightly. Something told me Calum's relationship with Michael was similar to that of mine and Ashton's.
"So... what brings you guys here?" I asked lamely. Calum giggled and turned to Michael.
"We were driving around, and then we decided to pick up some food to snack on. What about you?"
"We're having a chocolate milk party." Ashton smiled and took the bags in his hands after paying.
"Is that code for something?" Michael asked in pure confusion. I giggled and shook my head.
"No, we're going back to my place for Netflix and chocolate milk." I responded, carrying one of the bags for Ashton.
"Wow, nice to know you're doing our tradition with your new boyfriend." Calum scoffed in mock offense. I chuckled and looked at Ashton in question. He smiled lightly and nodded.
"Why don't you guys come with us?" I suggest. Michael and Calum exchanged glances before turning back to us.
"Sure, but let us go get some clothes." Calum agreed and pulled Michael out of the convenience store.
"I hope your mom won't mind us all there." Ashton smirked.
"Me too."
I don't know when I'll next update. But I'll try to make it soon.
