So our six weeks' term finally ended and I ended up making a D in AP World History. I don't even care. This was a bad term for me because it was also the same one in which Mama made me quit softball. And that was pretty much the only thing that motivates me to keep my grades up. I think I'm going to start prioritizing fanfiction more because I really just don't care about school anymore.
Ashton's POV
I came home around late noon and still had enough time to squeeze in a workout. That went pretty well. It wasn't entirely too long, but it was relieving. It gave me time to think.
Mom was home before me. I guess I spent a lot more time with Luke than I anticipated. She didn't seem to mind. She told me she was happy I found someone who made me happy. I guess that's the kind of response a woman gives her teenage son after he spends a night at his boyfriend's house. But I'm not complaining.
The thing is, I don't understand how I've developed feelings for him. One minute I want to punch his face in, the next I want to invite him over for dinner and hear him play guitar. I like the latter of those minutes much more.
He's just so innocent. He doesn't seem to go out much- guessing with the grocery store fiasco, I can see why he hates it- he's quiet, and very shy.
What really set me off was his relationship with Liz. It was nothing compared to mine and my mother's. He called her by her name and didn't seem to tell her he loved her that often. And she gave his boyfriend and his friend's boyfriend a box of condoms. I feel like she's more of a friend.
It's sad now that I think about it. Luke doesn't have the kind of nurturing motherly relationship; odds are, he probably never did. The boy needs more attention. Much more for that matter.
And I, Ashton Irwin, am going to give it to him.

"A-Ash. Hey." Luke smiled shyly when he opened the door and let me in. He was wearing a large cream sweater and these light blue pajama pants that went passed his feet.. Adorable.
"Thought I'd come by today, seeing as we've already spent Friday and Saturday together. We may as well make it an entire weekend." I shrugged and sat down on the couch. Luke sat right decide me and cuddled into my side, kissing my cheek.
"That's sweet," he chuckled. "Can we just stay in? I don't feel like dressing up or going outside." He pouted, blue eyes sparkling.
"Yeah. Just wanted to spend some time with you." I answered and kissed his forehead. Luke hummed and smiled contentedly as I went ahead and turned the flat screen on.
I was looking through the channel guide and Luke's eyes lit up at How I Met Your Mother. I selected the channel and set the remote down.
"Do you want anything to eat or drink?" He suddenly asked. I smiled at his hospitality and shook my head.
"I'm fine, but thanks." He nodded against my chest and averted his gaze back to the programme.

"Ash. Ashton. Ash, wake up." I was jolted awake by Luke. I looked around at my surroundings and it was all dark.
"What the-"
"Your mom called me. She asked if I knew where you were because she was worried. She wants to know when you're coming home."
"What time is it?" I rasped and sat up from my slightly uncomfortable position.
"Almost ten. You should probably head home so Anne-Marie doesn't worry." He told me in a soft voice. I really appreciate him toning it down a bit in my state of lethargy.
"Yeah. Yeah, I should. Did you just wake up?" Luke shook his head and explained to me that he was awake for about an hour.
"You just look so cute when you sleep." He blushed furiously and ducked his head. I smirked and put two fingers under his chin before lifting it up so my eyes were staring into his.
"That seems a little stalkerish, no?" I joked and he ducked his head down again. Of course, my fingers are still under his chin and they do their job again.
"Stop it. I'm embarrassed now." Luke giggled and yanked himself away. I cooed and pulled him back.
"I think it's cute." I chuckle and kissed his temple, or forehead since his glasses frame was in the way. Luke looked up at me and giggled again. I think I'm in love with that sound now.
"But it was pretty stalkerish of me." He joked and I fondly rolled my eyes.
"You flatter me. But I should really be leaving, I at least need to sleep in a bed." I yawned. Luke pouted but nodded anyway. We stood up from the couch and Luke walked me to the door.
"Ok. I'll see you tomorrow."
"I'll come by to pick you up. Be ready by eight." He nodded and I pecked his lips before turning around and leaving his house.
I got into my car and saw that he had already closed the door. Sighing, I pulled out of the driveway and left his neighborhood. Not before turning back one last time to get a view of his house. It looked vacant without my car there. And it made me wonder. Where is Liz?
Also, because I don't exactly have a weekend long break- my birthday's on Monday and I have school, so I'm celebrating with my family or friends this weekend. It depends which one is busy.- I will try to update as soon as I can. And hopefully it doesn't suck like this one did because I was tired and sick while writing this.
