Change?

I finally saw things clearing up

I saw the beaming fireplace

I saw my dad standing in front of me

I heard faint talking

All of it was muffled or blurred until it was just clear and I finally gained back control and moved my head to stare at my dad

"Kora can you hear me" my dad mumbled as I looked over to see clay hiding behind one of the walls and I slowly nodded my head "what's wrong with you" I heard my dad whisper as he engulfed me with a hug "Tom" I whispered and looked at Clay "Clay would you go get Tommy and bring him back please," my dad asked and I saw him walking up to me and my dad stepped back

"Are you alright you idiot?" he asked and I nodded and he also hugged me "I was so scared kora you don't even know" his voice grew shaky as I lifted my arms to hug him back "I'm sorry" I whispered and he pulled away "I'll be back soon but I'm sure George and Nick will wanna come to see you" he warned my dad "that's fine?" my dad said and Clay walked out the door and bent down to my level

"So when we're you going to tell me you had voiced," he asked in a disappointed tone "I don't know I thought they weren't a big deal" I lied "you're a lier because I know you're not stupid" he scowled seeing right through my lie "it wasn't bad until today," I told him "you have seen me when they take control you've seen what they can do you should have told me right away" his tone growing anger "I'm sorry ok" I finally yelled at him "don't raise your voice" his monotone voice warned me "what else do you want me to say" I glared at him "I just don't want you to end up like your mo-" his sentence suddenly stopped and I knew exactly what he was about to say

The audacity he has to bring her up

"Don't ever bring her up before you tell me what happened I know she didn't die of an illness" I scowled at him and he looked taken back when I heard running from the stairs and I saw a crying Tommy standing in the door frame and my face softened "Koda" he questioned and I nodded and he ran over and hugged me still slightly crying

I continued to hug Tommy when my dad stood up and just walked away I talked with the boys and apologized for what had happened Tommy was the one who  took it the hardest but he seemed like he had forgiven me given that he was clinging onto me when I noticed a little pink strand hair start to form upon his blond fluffy hair

"Wait what's that in Tommy's hair" I heard Nick say as I just stared at it

When you are born you are automatically born with your parents coloured hair the one you are most like I have pink so I take more after my dad but if you are abandoned your hair colour starts to fade once you regain that sort of trust or bond usually your hair colour starts to turn into the ones that had helped or in a rare case like Tommy right now he trusts me so much like his sibling that a strand of his hair turns the colour of mine

Symbolizing that he trust me like a sister and when I look down I see a little strand of blond which means we're connected

Blood siblings are different because you two will always be connected by blood as well as parents

I smiled to my self knowing what this had meant and I hugged Tommy a little tighter

A little bit after they left and once again I and Tommy went home and made dinner together

Not once did he ask what had happened or why he just continued like nothing happened I admire something like coming from someone especially at his age

But I know from what I said to you, my dad, that everything had changed between us and that would soon become more apparent over time

I have always known since I was younger that my mom didn't just die out of nowhere it didn't seem right and now that I had said my thoughts it would be weird between us

But for now, I was with the people I wanted to be with and I knew that those people were Tommy, Clay, George, Nick, and Will

Even if I hadn't known them long

Sorry this chapter was kind of cringe next beware time skip but ya I hope you guys liked it I'm starting to get back into writing but I've been pretty busy I might try and start a schedule but I'm not sure

Other than that I love you all your all swagy and handsome/beautiful make sure you eat and drink water and see you when I next update <3
