III

The move

"Kora we're leaving soon get up" I head my father yell as I put down my book  And I got up and looked into the drawer of clothes I didn't pack and saw black jeans and I purple knitted sweater I quickly threw it on and put on my black cloak and I went and grabbed my cloak and also quickly put my hair up into a ponytail ran downstairs to see my dad packing the back of the wagon

"ready to go" he asked and I nodded and put on my shoes and ran outside pash my dad who was walking to the door and ultimately locked it and came over

My dad also wore the same thing almost every dad brown pants and also the same looking blouse with his red cloak and his mask. He had red eyes that looked of blood and pink hair which I always found to be strange but I can't really say anything I look exactly like him except my eyes they are purple which I assume is from my mum but I'm not really sure my dad never really talks about her

I sat beside him putting on my mask as well as the horses started moving it wasn't a necessarily fast pace but it was fast enough I see our old home slowly disappearing into the distance as I laid my head on my dad's shoulder and slowly drifted asleep

"Kora get up" my dad slowly shook me awake as my eyes fluttered open and I saw in the distance two cottages opposite of each other and around the same size also what looks to be a family in the distance "is this where we will be living," I asked "yup that's Phill and his kids," my father said as we slowly got closer to the point where we stopped and my father got out and walked towards the three of them

One was tall I assume him to be phill he had blond hair and wore a hat shaped like a bucket with green and white stripes

The one next to phill was a way younger boy around 2 or 3 he looked exactly like phill blond hair but from the wagon, I could see his bright blue eyes

And the last one standing next to phill was another boy who looked around my age but a bit older he had brown hair and he had brown eyes and he had Circular glasses and he wore a burgundy beanie

I was snapped out of my thoughts as I heard my dad call my name motioning for me to come to introduce myself to them

I slowly got out of the wagon and walked over stoping right behind my dad and slightly hid behind him

"Well Phill this is little kora" my dad introduced me and the older man smiled and waved at me "hello I'm Philza" he introduced himself and I slightly smiled and heard a little wine from the little boy who had run over to me and I bent down

"Hello" I whispered to him and he smiled "what's your name," he asked loudly "kora what's your name," I asked "my names Tom but you can call me Tommy everyone calls me Tommy but I like your name and your mask it's cool" he rambled and I chuckled slightly "thank you Tommy" I smiled and phill came over and picked him up and stepped back "I'm so sorry he's a chatty one Tommy is" phill apologized
phill spoke as I looked over at the other boy and caught him gazing at me and I saw his cheeks turn a slight pink

"My names Wilbur but you can call me whatever" he Spoke fast and I gave him a slight smile "kora" I added and he nodded "your name pretty" mumbled quietly but just enough so I could hear him over our parent's conversation and I felt my cheeks heat up under my mask "thanks will" I smiled and he smiled as well "dad can I take kora to meet my friend if Mr techno says it's ok" will turn to phill and phill looked my dad and he looked at me

"Maybe tomorrow we have to unpack but you guys can spend more time together then" he explained and I nodded and so did will "ok then do you need any help unpacking," phill asked "no we should be fine," he said "well then I insist you come over for din we later" Phill smiled and my dad nodded "alright then I'll send will you call you two for dinner later if you need anything just knock on the door" phill beamed and started walking towards his house still carrying Tommy as will trailed behind him looking back towards us once and a while

I and my sad had spent around 2 to 3 hours getting the house organized and finally, it was finished my room was around the same size if anything bigger and I lined my walls with books as well as little trinkets I had gotten on adventures my room followed the colours of grey and light purple and the view overlooked the town with mountains in the distance

"Kora come down we need to head over for dinner" I heard my dad yell from downstairs and I ran to see him waiting at the bottom with no mask "take that off" he lightly chuckled and I took it off and put it on the table and put my shoes on and I turned to the door to see will with a look of shock "is something wrong will," I asked "no no it just you have purple eyes" he smiled "yea got it from my mom" I smiled back and he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards his house

It wasn't that long considering they were across each other we got to the house and I took my shoes off and walked inside the house was the same as ours but it smelt of delicious foods I smiled at the sent but was pulled out of my daydream when I felt someone hugging my leg I looked down to see golden blond hair which could only be

"Tommy leave Kora alone" will whisper yelled "hey Tommy" I bent down to his level "hi koda you have nice eyes will wouldn't st-" he was cut off my wills hand covering his mouth and I laughed putting the pieces together "all nice things I hope Tom," I asked and he nodded profusely and I went and picked him up "well Tom's don't tell your brother but your my favourite" I whispered and he giggled "thank you DID YOU HEAR THAT WILL IM HER FAVOURITE" Tommy yelled and I smiled "shut up Tommy" will rolled his eyes and I walked in the kitchen with Tommy on the side of my hip

The rest of dinner was just my dad and phill catching up and me and will talking about our hobby I also made conversation with Tommy

I figured out that will was 9 about two years older than me and Tommy was almost three but he had a really good vocabulary after dinner Tommy insisted that I went and looked at his toys and I did there were cars and I noticed a music box kind of like one of those record players

"Tom what Is that box thing," I asked pointing to it "oh that my jukebox want me to show you how it works," he asked and I nodded and we went over to it and the drawers next to it and pulled out a music disc that was red and had hints of yellow and orange and it looked familiar "this is called pig step it's a music disc dadza got for me on one of his adventures" he explained and put the disk in the slot and music started playing it was odd I would say almost was too familiar

We both listened to his discs he had two others but explained to me that his favourite discs he wanted were cat and Mellohi by the end of his talking his dad called us down and I saw my dad getting his shoes on

"are we leaving dad," I asked and he nodded and I put my shoes on as well and will walked over "hey so wanna come to meet my friends tomorrow," he asked "ya of course" I smiled and his face lit up "ok I'll come over to your house around 10 in the morning and I will show you around and my friends" he spoke fast and I nodded and my dad held my hand

we walked outside and said our goodbyes and walked back to our house and I walked upstairs and got ready for bed and started reading my book when I heard a knock on my door

"Come in" I yelled a bit and my dad walked in and I looked over "how are you liking it here so far," he asked and I smiled "I like it," I told him and he nodded "good ok good night kora," he told me "night dad love you" I smiled and he nodded and closed my door and I finally after a long day went to sleep
