꧁new friend and flower crowns꧂

"Hey the names Luke" he smiled tilting his head lightly while giving us a little wave I smiled at his introduction "my names kora it's nice to meet you I don't think I've seen Nick this excited in a while" I joked and I felt a light hit on my shoulder "shut up kora" I heard Nick whispered and a little chuckled from the blond boy "I was pretty excited as well" he rubbed the back of his neck as his smile grew wider "well these two are Clay and George this is our crew" I stepped to the side a bit as I introduced them and I saw Luke give them a little wave and George smiled at the boy

Something was off tho Clay just stood there looking off to the side uninterested it was quite rude, to be honest, but I ignored it maybe he was just nervous

"We should all come over to my house and talk my dads away so I'm home alone for the week" I suggested when I felt someone behind me "are you sure you want him to come to your hours" I heard Clay familiar voice and I elbowed his stomach and I heard his groan as he hunched over "don't be an idiot" I growled at him and I looked at Luke and gave him a slight smile asking for his opinion "sounds great I would love to get to know you all," he said cheerfully and Nick jumped up and down while George just stood there normally

We started walking towards my house and Luke nick and I talked and got to know each other a lot better clay and George were slowly trailing behind us and every time we would say a joke and laugh clay would wince it was odd I have to ask him about it later

Once we got to my house I saw a little blond boy running from a distance and I readied myself once again to catch him and of course, I did

"Hey toms what's up," I asked and he smiled until he looked over and saw a new person standing beside me "who is that," Tommy asked rudely "Tom that's no way to greet a new person" I gave him a side-eye and he sighed "my names Tom nice to meet you" he reintroduced himself "my names Luke it's nice to meet you too" Luke smiled and Tommy tilted his head "why does Clay look so pissed off ko," he asked and I turned to look at clay and turned back "he'd just in a mood why don't you go get Will for me," I asked and he nodded and ran off into his house

"He's a cool kid" Luke commented "he is quite the character," I told him, "I noticed the same kind of pink in his hair which seemed the same colour as yours" he pointed out "ya Tommy even tho we aren't blood-related I would do anything for" I turned to see Will walking up to us and I noticed a pair of glasses on his head and smiled "well Luke is Will and Will this is Luke" I introduced them and they both nervously waved at each other

we all made small talk when Will said he need to go back inside with Tommy and we all walked over to my house and I showed Luke around while the boys went and sat in the flowers

"And this is my house" I gestured to it as we walked out "I can't believe your dads the blood god that's insane," he said as we walk over to the three and I sat next to clay who gave me a weary look and I just put my hand over his

"You worry too much" I whispered slightly and he chuckled and I took my hand off his when I started making a flower crown with the flowers around me

And so that's what we did we made flower crowns in my backyard until George Nick and Luke had to go home

"Are you going to walk with them?" I asked when I saw in those usually sparkly green eyes the look of despair and sadness "Clay" I asked with a weary voice and he just

I would assume from what has been happening at home it's starting to get bad

He thinks his older brother hates him he never sees his mom anymore he might get a new little brother

We're his safe space and well with the addition of another person he snapped and I don't blame him I couldn't imagine what he's going through at the moment I feel bad

I quickly rushed over and pulled him into a hug and just continued as his cry's got quieter and quieter

He didn't need to tell me what was wrong I could already tell just by looking at his eyes he just needed someone to help him or to be there for him and I was willing to do that because

Clay is my closest friend other than Will or Tommy he is my fighting buddy he goes on adventures with me patches me up if I get hurt and I do the same for him he's the most charming out of all of us always conning things out of people and getting us out of situations in a way dream is our protector and leader

That is why I will always be there for him he's our glue

"Anything else bothering you," I asked and he looked at me with sad eyes "no" he turned to leave but it didn't feel right "hey why don't you stay over," I asked and he turned around and looked at me questionably "come on it will be fun and it will get your mind off of things" I raised my eyebrows and he nodded I agreement
