All I was thinking was run! Warning signs kept flashing in my head. Why would guys be so stupid? Everything's going to go down hill now. I don't have any belongings thank the moon goddess so I just ran into our guest room and straight to the window. I was up a few stories but I knew that if I went out the front door people would stop me. I can't have that! I have to leave before HE finds me! I have to run. I opened the window and looked down anticipating the fall. I put my legs outside the window and closed my eyes. Then... I let go. The wind blew by my eyes in screams and my eyes were still closed but tears still came from the wind hitting me. But then everything stopped and I opened my eyes.
Of course it wouldn't be that easy. Nothing's ever easy when it comes to me. I realized there was two arms wrapped around me and I looked up to see Asher. "Oh, good! Your ready to go." He said snakily. This jerk. I just wanna claw his eyes out but then again I don't because then he wouldn't be so mouth watering. He carried me over to a black Range Rover. "Stop Asher. You don't know what your doing. I have to go." The panic in my voice peeked out. I was expecting him to set me in the car but instead he sat down and held me in his lap while the driver quickly drove off. I wanted to run. To get out. I squirmed and moved around trying to free myself but all I got was a low growl from Asher. "We are going."
We? He can't go too?
"W-where?" My voice still quiet. The fear was evident on my face and he seemed to notice because he squeezed me to him and kissed the top of my head. "Trust me." Is all he said and the bad thing was.. I couldn't. I've never had trust in anyone but myself and my wolf. But i guess I had no choice.
---
We pulled up to a mansion much larger then the pack house we just left. "Where are we?" I asked hesitant. I felt so out of character. Never had I felt so weak, but then again nothing has felt right lately. Everything I know turns out to be incorrect. For example, Asher and the pack knowing about mates, asher having a bigger wolf, and him defeating me in a battle. I feel so vulnerable, without an advantage as usual.
Of course a asher ignored me and stepped out of the car still holding me bridal style and carried me into the very elegant looking mansion. I was at a lost for words. It was breathtaiking. Enchanting even. It reminded me of a modern home but still spacious and elegant.
He carried me up the stairs and into a office. He sat down in a comfy office chair with me still in his lap of course. I try ed to get up, but as soon as I sat up he pulled me back to his chest and let out an angered growl. "Why do you keep trying to leave me?" His voice held pain hidden by anger. I felt bad but then again he's the one keeping me here against my will. I try ed to run, because I can take care of myself better by myself. I need to be safe again. "I'm not safe here." I stated quietley. He was just about to say something when a knock hit the door and in came a man that looked like Asher but had older features.
"So good to see you back home son, I trust your visit went well." The man was talking before even entering the room. When his gaze landed on me he said, "son, we talked about this. No flings while in alpha position. You need to be serious and take care of the pack. Don't you understand the responsibilities-" he was cut off by none other then Asher, " she's my mate." He growled and pulled me closer to smell me and calm down his wolf. I also smelt him to calm mine down as well, because of the thought that my mate may have had other flings.
"I don't care if she is your mate! I won't have a worthless human as this packs Luna!" He yelled.
"Well its a good thing it's not up to you." Asher stated ,"now please leave your Luna and I. Thank you for your visit.
Ashers father left and you could feel the anger radiate off him in waves once he closed the door.
"I'm sorry" I appoligized feeling it was my fault. Asher quickly pulled my chin to look at him. "No. No baby girl. You have nothing to be sorry for. He's just always hated humans. Even my mother was a werewolf. Like yourself, my father found her and mated her,but she died once I was born." I felt the pain seep from his words. He blamed himself.
"Asher." I gathered his attention,"it wasn't your fault. It happens," he only nodded.
"Thank you." I stated. He looked at me confused and asked,"why?"
"For not correcting him when he called me a 'human'"
"It wasn't my story to tell." And for some reason that sentence sent my stomach into backflips.
