A Year Later
"Calum and Lisa are expecting their baby. They are having a son. They decided to name him Michael Malum Hood. The come visit Luke and I all the time. "I say as I place a rose on his headstone.
"We moved to a different house after you passed away. The funeral was bad. I had Luke talk for both of us. We decided that every year we would come here . To see you on our anniversary."I choke and start to cry.
"We miss you so dam much Michael.It's been hard on both of us. We started a fundraiser in your name. To promote self awareness in suicide,anorexia,Self harm and depression.So many people have donated and have gotten help.I miss you so much. We still love you." Luke says and starts to cry. I hold him as we look up.
"Can you forgive me for not noticing can you for give us Michael? We never did have a honeymoon. We have been trying to move forward but can because we'll we need to be forgiven. People say we can't be because your gone. Please Michael show us a sign that everything will be ok that you....you forgive us." I say looking up as I start to sob.
As we get up and start to walk away we hear a bird. The song it is singing isn't a normal bird sound put a song we all sang once. Emptiness. We both look at the bird and it's not a normal one but a dove white. And then.it flies around us and then flush up to the sky.
I feel warmth for the first time in a long time. I feel happy. I look at Luke's blue eyes and see the light back into them. We look up and both say Thank you Michael We love you Forever More!
Now we can truly start our new life as Husbands. And we know that Michael Forgives Us and is Watching Over Us.
