Aftermath

I feel the rain on my skin washing away the blood that was on my face, on my hands and on my sword. I look down and see the muddy water mixing with the blood of all those who died or injured and when I look up, I see people celebrating all except the Lieutenant.

"Lieutenant?"

She turns to us. Her wet black hair with a slight red color at the end of her hair strands cover part of her eyes.

"Harith go and get Amir's stuff. I left in a house. Bayan knows where it is, the rest go and find any survivors. You remember what Lord Regan said right. We can't have a repeat of last time."

"Yes Lieutenant."

We all saluted heading in different directions.

I feel a tap on my shoulder and look back and see Sergeant Virat moving his hand signaling to join him which I reply with a nod. We head into several houses with another from our squad joining us, looking for survivors. We took some sheets drying ourselves first and cover up trying to be safe from the rain.

While the Mayura soldiers was still celebrating Iron Sky was looking for any hidden survivors and killing them. It could be men, woman, children it didn't matter we were killing many as we can. All the while I try my best not to look at it.

We came to another house and started our search. I find some blood that leads to a man on the floor inside a room and there was a young boy and black pants, a sword, shield and a necklace with a name, his core name and, other information engraved on it. On other side was the symbol of the supreme god. A circle with two parallel lines taking a sharp curve in the center and then two more parallel lines.

I walk out and show it to my Sergeant. He looks at it with his silver eyes, I look down and see the same necklace on his chest the only difference is it has a bronze paint on it while the pendent on my hand was just a wooden pendent.

"Wh whe where did you ge ge get it?"

"In that room"

He looks pass me.

"O o ok, g g go u u up upstairs."
I gave a nod and go up.

The house was dark and the heavy rain blocking the sun didn't help much. I walk up the stairs, ouch! Looks like the step is a bit slippery. I try to be more careful not to fall again and reach into an open space.

Luckily there is a window here giving a bit of light but it's still dim. I look around and see one shield place near the window it was black and had the white bull painted on it. That mark belongs to someone from the White Bull Core.

I try to pick up the shield and sound came from a room that was close. It sounded like scratching and I can't tell may be like the sound of dragging a chair but it was short. I ready my sword and shield and walk towards it and then I heard a cry.

It seems faint but I can still hear it. There was something moving inside. I quickly and open the door and...

"What the fuck!"
A man shouted as I see him inside a woman half naked crying on the floor. One man was holding her down as another...

Dammit. I feel my heart beating faster as a man was on top of me his knife to my throat.

"Oi don't! his one of us."

"He is a fucking NPC it doesn't matter."

He tells looking at my chest realizing I didn't have the same barcode marking as him. I try to get my sword but feel his knife now pushing into my neck. My breathing gets heavier almost as if my lungs could explode.
