I hear the men outside the tent sing all together like a drunk choir of old men. All of them knowing some of them may not go back home after tomorrow.

"Did you ask the maiden about her ring?"

I look at Sylar as he hands me a drink. I take off my head scarf and then take the drink and look at him.

"I did but, I don't know much about it."

"Ok tell what you know then?"

I look at Sylar. His face and words being curious.

"Well, the ring is gold and it has a green gem on it. It can only use a low-level healing spell. Also, some markings on it."

"Hindi?"
He asks getting an inch closer.

"No, there was R but, most were like different letters. It was like in some other language."

"I see, so the ring was Just an ordinary level ring?"

"Yes"

He sighs.

"Sorry, that's all I could get."

Sylar smiles looking at his drink.

"No issues."

He says taking his cup and drinking the orange juice. I did so too. I look at the table and take a roasted chicken leg, taking a bite out of it. I can feel the chicken juicy and spicy in my mouth. This is really good.

"Hey it's the man of the match! Or should I say man of the war?"

Sylar lifts his cup looking at Mewan as he enters the tent with Shivanthi behind him.

"Are we late?"
Mewan asks smiling.

"No, we just started."

I said smiling. Both Mewan and Shaivanthi sit down.

"Shivanthi, Congratulation on your promotion to lieutenant."

"Thanks, Sylar."

She smiles looking at him. I look at her for a moment as she smiles and I'm happy she looks ok.

"Ok there's pork and chicken, also sorry no Surah. Lord Regan banned alcohol until we win the war."

Mewan smiles taking some roasted pork. Shivanthi did the same taking a bit of pork into her hand and eating it. She smiles giving that aura of happiness radiating from her my brother told me about.

"Oh, wait I wanted to ask, Amir did you make sure the fly can get out of the box you gave to the queen."

I look at Sylar.

"The fly?"

I look at Sylar a bit puzzled when he said that in a serious way.

"The fairy."

His voice sounds serious in that moment.

"Oh, you mean Neeta. Yeah, we checked before giving it to the queen. Why?"

Sylar looks down.

"Nothing I thought by now I would hear the queen and the prince are dead or something."

Sylar said it in a low voice, almost like he is worried. However, knowing him he is more worried about the mission more than her.

"Sounds like your worried about Neeta?"

"No, I'm more concerned about the mission."

Thought so.

We all start to eat and joke. Enjoying the songs, the men are singing outside and me drinking most of the drink from the jug and pretending I'm getting drunk.
