'BOOM!'

At first, I couldn't explain it properly, but when that thing flew through the front open part of the shield wall, it was like listening to a burning forest but more intense, a thousand times more intense. It was amazing but a terrifying sound. Then next was the fiery explosion. Creating an instant bright light and then the wall that was made out of hard stone right Infront of us was instantly reduced to rubble right after the bright light. It was really amazing to see, it was really... incredible.

"Mewan"

I soon see Captain Mewan fall down and the barrier between us and him disappear. He was breathing heavily, I could almost hear him.

"Get him out of here now."

Captain Amir said it in a low voice but it had a very strong tone. Lieutenant Shivanthi immediately took him into her arms, holding him tight. The shields on top of us opened and she flew up into the sky with captain Mewan in her hands. The shields cover the top again, then the part that was open in the front was close.

"Let's get out of here now."

Captain Amir said. I can hear someone shouting in the distance while we start to slowly move back. I couldn't hear the words properly but I can tell he sounded angry.

"Captain Amir fire ball!"

'BASH!'

Suddenly the shield wall is hit by a fire ball I think... no its definitely a fire ball and suddenly something was hitting the shields. It wasn't that loud but I can tell something is hitting us.

"Captain Amir they have archers shooting at us."

"Ok let's run!"

All three of us start to run immediately and suddenly I felt a something flew inside from the top. It's an arrow.

"Captain Amir the walls are loose!"

Lieutenant Aditya said as I think he saw it slip through the shield wall too.

Captain Amir tighten the shield wall more, closing whatever gaps they were. A moment passes and soon the shields around us start to disappear we start to run even faster and Captain Amir fell down as all the shields around us disappear. We stopped immediately and cover Captain Amir with our shields.

There was an arrow that landed Infront us but was far. At least ten meters away from us. Then another one.

I could feel my heart pumping faster, the blood flow going wild under my skin, my breathing even faster and everything feels like it's getting slower.

"Help!"

Lieutenant Aditya shouts back again and again, and soon I hear men rushing to us. They cover us with shields and carry Captain Amir back to the camp.

I held my shield up with the others but there weren't any arrows hitting...

'thud'

No, there was one or two arrows hitting the shields but nothing else. We kept our shields up until we were close to the gate of the camp.

As we came into the camp and my heart was still beating hard. I couldn't describe this feeling I felt now but I guess I can describe it as, exhilarating. I put my hand into my pocket, the rings were still there. Thank you, father.

The camp torches were lit and as we walk through the men were cheering us but, mostly Captain Amir.

"Amir! Amir! Amir!"

Everyone was cheering on and at the same time the men who rescued us was clearing the way for him to the medical tent. Some men start to rub my head or put their hand around my neck congratulating me and Lieutenant Aditya as well. I smile, to be honest this is the first time I felt like this in a long time.
