Sam trudged through the grass, body tense as he tried to get as far away from everything as possible.

Just a little longer, then it'll be safe.

He finally made it far enough, letting out a shaky sigh as he fell to his knees, claws cutting his face slightly as he pulled off his mask and goggles, putting them into his inventory.

He curled in on himself, gripping his hair tightly as tears formed in his eyes. All the guilt, anger and anxiety from the past week building up.

You see, this wasn't the first time Sam had done this.

A bit after Dream was put in prison, he started going out to deserted fields every week or so. Originally, it was to get some sun in, along with some nice peace and quiet, but it quickly devolved into a way to release his emotions in a place where noone was around to witness, and where everyone would be safe.

His breathing began to quicken, smoke forming in his lungs and being pushed out every time he took a breath. His whole body began to heat up, clawed hands pulling his hair as boiling tears fell down his face, skin sizzling and burning where they fell. Violent sobs filled the mostly silent area, tail curling around his body tightly as he broke down.

Meanwhile, with Ponkie :]

Ponk sighed. Foolish said he should get out more, so the giant forced them to go on a walk. He was actually enjoying himself a bit, looking around at the scenery and pulling his mask up to breath in the fresh air. Instead of smelling the scent of flowers and grass, they smelled the unmistakable scent of smoke. And not just any smoke, he recognized the smell anywhere. They looked around, spotting a cloud of smoke in the distance, running over.

The creeper was shaking violently, entire body starting to sizzle. He was mumbling 'I'm sorry' over and over as the ground started to char beneath him.

"SAM!"

The man froze.

"SAM!" Tommy screamed, sobbing.

"Please, come get me..."

"SAM, STOP HIM!" Dream yelled, panic clear on his face as Techno was attacked by Quackity.
