Honor of the Samurai
sunk in war watered soil,
my body awaits departure.
does my armor still
radiate honor wedged in this
plasma infused mud?
this blood condensed atmosphere
deep with coughs of death?my mind comprehends
what is now too late.
what was instilled in her
delicate peach face,
hinted in her desperate,
departed voice,
tattooed in her dark,
wet orbs.Shinigami condemn samurai
and rurouni alike,
their invisible blades of
masked judgment
penetrate
hidden doors.my gates now gripped
open by bones,
emperors, lords,
honor, and bloody blades,
void of what she
aspired to entrust
in me.it is raining, clearly.
my eyes battle
water as words I should
have spoken are washed
away…Boku wa kimi wo aishite imasu.
