chapter 6: battle against the fearsome violent captain of the royal guard.

Frisk POV.
"Mmmm" I wake up. My hear hurts. Almost like I fell from a higher place. Boogie: "your awake! Thank goodness. You had me worry there" boogie? What happen. "My head hurts" boogie: "whoa. Careful. You just woke up. You should stay down for a bit. How many fingers I'm I holding up?" I looked at him. "You dont have fingers" boogie: "good. You can still see. You been out for awhile" I slowly stand up. I look down. A flower bed? How did I land on it. "Boogie what happen?" Boogie: "dont you remember? Chara threw you down here" chara? Chara!! I remember now. We were looking at toriel. She threw a fire ball at me. It did alot of damage to me. Lucky chara coat lower the damage it done to me. Wait. I still have her coat on. It feels so warm. Chara is fighting her own mother. To protecting me. I'm so worried about her. "I need to get back to chara!"  I was about to run until boogie grab my leg with his Vines. "Lwt me go!" Boogie: "no! If I do you will die! I remember hearing about toriel from inside of the ruins! You dont stand a chance!" I dont care! I need to get to chara! I try to crawl but he was stopping me. Boogie: "listen to me frisk! Toriel is some one that we must not mess with! She cruel! Heartless! She probably the strongest monster in the underground! Chara gave us a chance! We need to take it!" But chara. Boogie: "I know what you are thinking and I am worried about her too. But we cant do anything about. If she lucky. We may met her up ahead. Just believe in her" but. No he right. I know chara will be ok. She strong. I just need to believe in her. Boogie let go of me. I got up. Boogie: "will you be alright?" I nodded. "I'm ok. I just so worried" boogie: "it will be ok. Me and chara may not be on good terms. But we share the same goal. To protect you" I know. I dont want her to worried. I walk off the flower bed. I looked around. What is this place? Boogie: "I dont know where we are. But we should get moving before we run into any monsters" he attached him self to my arm. I walk ahead hoping to know where the exit is at. There trash everywhere. Who would live in a place like this. As I keep walking there is one trap down here. There are things that will set the trap off. Boogie: "looks like you are going to have to walk" I know. I slowly walk in between them. There so close to each other that it impossible to move. I was nearly to the end. Than I feel something hitting me. Boogie: "are you ok?" I nodded. I look around. Where did it come from? ???: "you survived my attack! Not bad!" Than something appear infront of me. It looks like a dummy? Boogie: "wait. Is that the dummy from the ruins? How did it get here?" Dummy: "you thought you would have seen the last of us! I been down here for months! Now that a human comes! I will defeat you and deliver you to the captain house!" Than white looking things that I guess are it attacks appear around me. Boogie: "damn it! If these things were not around us! I would use my Vines to block the attacks" it started laughing as the things slowly went close. Than something hit them destroying them. Dummy: "what!?" Than something hit the dummy. Destroying him. I look to where it came from. Alphy: "are you ok? I was walking past. Oh it you!" It alphys! "Alp!" I ran up to her and hug her. Alphy: "hello frisk! It been awhile. How have you been?" I guess I'm been good. "I'm ok. Just surviving you know" she nodded. Alphy: "I do. We had to change because of what the other humans did to us. We had no choices. But now I dont want to hurt anyone. But I will to look out for my friends" I'm glad. I hope papyrus is ok. Alphy: "you look like your in trouble there. I'll me getting rid of those for you" she went to a wall and push a button. All of things on the ground went into the ground. Alphy: "that was my security system. I had it installed if anyone when though here. But I dont thinking need" I walk over to alphy. "Is this where you live?" Alphy: "oh no. My place is just down the path infront of us" I nodded. Alphy: "would you like to stay at my places?" I shook my head no. "Sorry but I need to find chara. I'm worried about her" alphy: "chara? You mean toriel daughter?" I nodded. "Yeah. I guess everyone would know about chara" alphy: "well if you want to know. I saw chara. She ran past me as I was walking here" what! "Where did you see her!" Alphy: "it was 10 minutes ago. So she would have already left but I think she was heading to the entrance to hotlands" I nodded. "Thank you alp. I have to get to her!" I ran past her. Alphys: "no problem! I hope you are ok!" She waved. I waved back. I need to get to her. I keep running. I than ran into blue flowers. Boogie: "echo flowers? I didnt know they still grow here" I than went to one. I can here a voice. "Chara!! No matter how you run! Your punishment will be more painful!!" Thay was toriel voices! How can I hear it. Boogie: "echo flowers repeat the same thing you say over and over again. If chara ran though here than we are on the right track!" I nodded. I continue running. There no traps. Must be because chara was able to get rid of them. I need to get to her. I must stop toriel. A mother shouldnt nurt there daughter. Or kill there daughter. They are family! My ones were nothing but controllers. But chara ones can still be saved! As I was running I ran into monster kid. He blocking my way. Monster kid: "it you!" I dont have time for this. "Monster kid! Please let me past!" Monster kid ran up to me. Monster kid: "chara is endanger! I saw her running down here with blood coming from her! And the captain was chasing her! The captain looks really mad!" So he saw them! "Which way did they go!!" I need to be quick! Monster kid: "just down there! I dont know what going on but if something happens to chara! I wont get my chance to beat her! Please you must help her!" I nodded. "I will!" I ran past him. As I run I see blood on the ground. She been here! I follow the trail of blood. After alot of running I got to the end of the trail. I stopped on the wooden platform. I was horrified by what I'm see. I see chara being held up by toriel. She has blood all over her self. Toriel was ready to end her. "Stop!!" Toriel turn to me. Toriel: "oh? Your alive? How surprising" I see chara slowly move her head. Chara: "f..Frisk?" I can feel tears in my eyes. She looks almost dead. "Let her go!" I need to heal chara right now! Toriel look at her. Toriel: "I guess you can have her. I already punish her enough" she threw chara over to me. I put my hands under her head and lift it up. Chara: "f...frisk" she started coughing up blood. "Dont speak. Just eat this" I hold out a cinnamon bun that boogie gave me. She took a bite. It restored 20 of her hp. Chara: "you should have got some chocolate" is it the right time to joke. "I ran here as fast as I can. I made it in time" some of her wounds are heal but she still have wounds. Chara: "dont worry. I can heal. But you shouldnt have come for me. Now she wont let you leave" I look over at toriel who was point her staff at me. Toriel: "she right. Now that you are here. It time for your death!" She ready her fire balls. I stand up. She send them at me Hitting me directly. I was still standing. Toriel: "your still alive? I'm surprised. It been along time since anyone survive my attacks" chara grab my hand. Chara: "frisk. I know what your doing. You cant win. She someone that cant change no matter what!" Cant change. I hear of that word for years. I looked at chara. "Im going to change her. Just watch. Ok" I smiled at her. I walk up to her. Toriel: "so you want to fight me? Ok than. Follow me down this path. I know a area that will be perfect for us to fight!" She than walk down the path infront of us. I saw a save point. I went up to it and saved. "The will to change someone and your care for chara. It fills you with determination!" Boogie: "are you sure that you can do it? There a reason to why the monsters call her captain of the royal guard" I nodded. "I can do it. No matter what" I than walk to where toriel is. Chara tryed to stop me. But I can do it. I will. I got to where toriel was at. Toriel: "oh? You actually came" ahe started laughing. Toriel: "are you insane!! You must be or you won't be here! Well why dont we start! Because I'm going to enjoy killing you!!" She ready her staff.
(Battle start)
I click check. "Toriel dreemurr. Atk 60. Def 80. The Captain of the royal guard. Her armor has been Enchanted with fire. Her fire is really hot" toriel: "I may as well end this battle!" She point her staff at me and it fire a beam at me. I was able to dodge it. She summon fire balls at me. I was able to dodge them. I than click spare. Toriel: "are you not going to fight! How pathetic!" She slam the ground and fire pillars appear out of the ground. I dodge them without losing a hair. I chose spare again. Toriel: "you humans are the same! Always want to take what not yours and let others who cant fight back die! we will show you that mercy to you is off the table!" She summon and swings her staff at me. I was able to dodge her swing as they were orange and blue. With blue you stand still. With orange you move. I was able dodge the fire coming at me. I spare again. Toriel: "you human say you know pain! But you dont know the pain you gave to us!!" She summon pillars again. And fired a beam at me. I run into the pillar taking my hp down to 13. I chose spare again. Toriel: "we suffer losses thanks to your kind! You human may die but your body does disappear!! Us monster turn into dust when we die!!" She summon alot of fire balls. I moved around. Boogie used his Vines to help me dodge them. I chose spare again. Toriel: "you dont know how much pain that was to see a pile of dust from your friends! Someone close to you! Family! We wouldn't know because they are only dust!!" She fire a beam at me than summon fire balls at me. I was able to dodge them beam. I can feel the heat from it. I chose spare again. Toriel: "now the tides have turn! I will kill you and take your soul! I'll gave it to the king and he will become a god and destroy the barrier!" She summon pillars again as well as swing he staff. I got hit by her staff into the pillar. I have 5 hp left. I ate a cinnamon bun restoring 20 hp. I hope I have enough for the battle. She summon the pillars again and swing her staff. I was able to dodge them. I than chose spare. Toriel: "after the barrier is destroyed we will conquer the surfaces! Killing every human there! We will finally have what belongs to us! Monster will rise once again!!" She summon meteors. When they hit the ground they split. Boogie send his pellets at the meteor as I dodge them. He destroys some of them before they hit the ground. I chose spare again. Toriel: "we waited for so long! Now the end is finally here! We can finally get our revenge!!" She send a wave of fire at me. Boogie used his Vines to try and block it but it ok burned but it did make a part for me to go down when it comes to me. "Thanks boogie!" He nodded. I chose spare. Toriel: "why must humans fight! There nothing for them too!! Why do you fight!?" She send more meteors at me as well as fire balls. I was able to dodge them. "Because I have something to fight for! And thats to help you!" She looked at me surprised. Toriel: "help me! Hahaha! What help do I need! The one that needs help is you!!" She swing her staff at me. I dodge her hits. "I know that deep down that you are someone who really cares about others. That you will do everything to make them happy. There was a reason to why the monster look up to you" she grew mad. She slams the ground with her staff and chains appeared. They grab me and hold me tight. Toriel: "you know nothing about me! You dont know the things I have to deal with!!" I cant move! She sends fire balls at me. Than something cut the chains. It was a knife. Chara knife. I look to her. She  still recovering. I grab her knife. Boogie: "do you know how to used that?" I do. But I'm not going to use it to hurt her. It only to protect my self. She summon chains again. I started dodging them. They grab onto my arms but I used chara knife to cut them. Who knew that chara knifes can cut though metal. "Toriel. There no need for you to be like this! I may not know you much but I do know that you were a kind and gently monster! You wanted to show kindness to everyone! Even to flowers!" She was surprised. I guess she was what I said. Toriel: "no that not me! I'm not that monster anymore! In order to survive! We need to throw what we knew away and change! We did this because we lost to many things!" She summon meteors and fire pillars. I was able to use chara knife to cut the meteors and dodge them. "I know you lost alot! But we are not like those ones that came down here! We are different! Remember what chara used to be! She show kindness! She knew that monster were kind! Why must you throw away kindness when there are ones that can show you it!" She hesitated for a moment there. It work! She fired a beam as chains try to grab me. I was able to dodge both of them. "Toriel please! Let's stop this! There no point in us fighting! It will only hurt you more!" I can see her eyes are getting worried. Toriel: "no your wrong" she summon more fire balls. They were going all over the place. It look like she losing focus. It working! I almost have her! I dodge them. "Please toriel. Your not a killer. You are everyone hero. Even asriel looks up to you. The kind you have is what makes you who you are" she must be thinking of how do I know. Honestly I dont. I just feel it. Toriel: "l." Her fire balls are now missing. Did it work? "Toriel. It alright. I'm not like those other humans. I know that everyone is nice if they try" she looked at me with a sad look. Toriel: "...." her attacks were missing still. I can see tears in her eyes.. "toriel". She fell onto her knees and cried into her hands. Toriel: "I cant believe what I done. I nearly killed chara!" She still crying. I walk up to her. "I know but that can be forgiven. After all. Family is important to you. Right?" She looked at me. Tears still in her eyes. I hug her and she hug me back. He name turn yellow. I than spare her.

I'm still hugging her as she cry into my shoulder. Than she let go. Toriel: "I'm sorry child. But I need to be alone" she walk past me and away. I lie on the ground. Boogie: "you change the captain of the royal guards. You did it!" I smiled. I knew I can do it. Chara walk over to us. I got up. Chara: "you did it. You actually did it" I nodded. I looked at her hp. It looks like it full. I hug her. "I was worried about you. I thought you die" I think she smiled. Chara: "it alright sweetie. I'm ok now. And I get to see you too as well" what? Ahe smiled brightly. It made me blush. I quickly let go. Boogie: "looks like the group is back together. What now?" I'm worried about toriel. "I want to go see toriel. Do you know where she lived?" Chara: "of course. Me and asriel used to live with her here. Come I'll show you" she than lead the way. I'm glad she ok. If she had die. I dont know what I will do. The thoughts of if I didnt make it appears in my mind. But now not the time. I want to understand more of why the monsters are like this. From what chara said is true but I want to know why her. For some reason I knew she was kind. I dont know. I had this ability when I was born. That why I know who to trust. That how I know chara was not a bad person. Well it time to visit toriel. I hope she ok.

Liquid: there we go. The next one done. Sorry if I didnt appear in the last one. I was busy with something so I asked chara and frisk and charisk to take over. I dont know if I should let them anymore or not. Because I saw chara writing things that could get taking out of context. But dont worry they are in a time out right girls?
Chara: "your a monster!!"
