chapter 11: battle against the tyrant king of the underground

Frisk pov.
We waited until the elevator stopped. It was a long rid up. Enough time for us to catch our breath. It was a hard battles getting here. Papyrus, asriel, toriel, asgore, undyne and Chara. They all change because of the king. The king wanted to show monsters that we are a threat to them. They want to kill us. I have to show him that there are humans that will accept them. That is are ones that are nice. All monsters that i met are back to who they are. Now I need to help the king. The elevator door opens. We walk out. I read the sign. "New home? What type of place is this?" Chara step up to the sign. Chara: "it been years the last time I went though here. Looks like nothing change" we than started walking. The path way is gray. We got to a open area that looks like papyrus place with no spikes. I read the sign next to the entrance. San and papyrus house. Papyrus? Did he used to live here? We enter the house. Chara: "this place hasn't change at all. It as gray as I remember" Boogie looked around. Boogie: "I remember this place. Me and my cousin used to play here or live here I mean back before I become this" so he has a cousin. I wonder if it was connected to sans changing. "I would like to know your history before you become a flower" chara: "and let the humans kill us" he looked at Chara angry but he know it true. Boogie: "many years ago. The first human fell down here. There name was Metacritic. They once had a body that was human. But it was damage that the king asked for the royal Scientist to save it. He made a metal body and transfer the soul over to it. Metacritic than began there new life underground. I than met Metacritic and we end up being cousin. We were looked after by papyrus and san" so papyrus did used to live outside of the ruins. Chara: "wait. By papyrus you mean the prince? No body has seen him in years" boogie: "that true. San was the king while papyrus was the prince. There bothers. Both ruling the kingdom before there father who die years ago" how old is boogie? Can ghost actually live long? I don't really know. I guess flowers can. Boogie: "anyway one day Metacritic life was short. There soul was losing it power to stay alive. San work out a plan to try and save Metacritic. I stayed by there side the whole time. They ask for one request and that is to see the sky again. Every monster heard of the legends of humans absorbing monsters souls. None has ever thought of absorbing human souls. The only way for me to fulfill there request is for me to absorb there soul and go though the barrier. I did just that and I grab there body and went though the barrier. I found a place to put them down so they can see the sky. I watched as there life left there eyes" This is sad. He lost someone very important. That must have made him want to kill all the monsters. Boogie: "the humans started attacking me because they thought I was hurting them. I went back to the underground and die infront of San and papyrus" wait. Is that what made san become what he is? Boogie: "I guess you can say that what made San what he is. I don't  know why he became like that but so far he has to be stopped! The underground won't be them self if sans doesn't change!" I nodded. I turn back around and chara wasn't there. "Chara?" She appear down one of the hallways. Chara: "hey sweetie. Come over here" I went to her. She was standing infront of a mirror. I looked at it. My hair is a mess. I have dirt on my sweater. Bruise but even with all that I just smiled. Chara: "even with everything you been though. It still you" she gave a quick kiss on my cheek. Boogie: "I agree. With all the battles you were apart of. You still smile in the end" I came a long way. I remember dieing over and over again in the ruins. From traps and puzzles. Even against papyrus. Than asriel. Traps and puzzles. But I was able to not die from toriel, asgore, undyne. It was thanks to boogie for Chara that I came far. Now we are finally at the end. "Let go. The king is waiting" we than used the keys to unlock the locks on the chains. We than went down stairs. We appear in a area overlooking the whole underground. So many building. We continue until we made it to the elevator. It not working. So we took the long way. We keep walking until we made it to the sign that says judgement hall. We enter it. It was very yellow inside. Chara: "old judgement hall. It still looks the same same before" boogie: "you got that right. Me and Metacritic used to come here and Play hide and seek. Those were fun times" he smiled as he remembered that memory. Chara: "there is a old legend to this hall. It says whoever stands in here you will be judge. Judge for everything you done. I don't know if it true" what a weird legend. We than got infront of a hallway. Chara: "this leads to the throne room. The last place in the underground" I was about to step infront. Boogie and Chara stop me. Boogie: "wait for a sec frisk. There something we need to tell you" chara: "yeah. It not really important it just something for us to know" I wonder what they mean? Chara: "right now this is the finally battle. Thr finally battle towards our freedom. After everything you done you never give up. Right now we want to ask. Are you ready?" Do they really have to ask? I been ready the moment I fell down here. I didn't come this far to give up now. "I'm ready. No matter what. I'm going to change him" they smiled. Boogie: "well let's go. The king awaits and a new life does too" chara: "your a flower. What life do they have?" Boogie started yelling at Chara. It made me chuckled. We walk down the hallway. But there another path way. I started walking down it. Chara: "uh frisk? The throne room is that way?" I didn't listen. For some reason something calling to me. Wanting me. I continue walking than I got to stairs. I followed it down. I than got into a room with coffins. There 6 of them. Chara: "I never been to this room before. It new" I looked at the coffins. They had different colors of hearts on them. Boogie: "wait a minute! I know these ones" chara: "your not the only one. I remember me and this one battle" she points to the orange heart. Boogie: "that would mean. This room is!" That right. "This is where the body's of the other humans are at" I than looked at the coffin infront of me. It has a name on it. "Metacritic" Boogie looked at it. Boogie: "he made a coffin for them?" I than put my hands on the lid of the coffin. I can hear words telling me to free them. Like there someone trap inside. I started pushing it. Chara: "Frisk? what a you doing?" I didn't listen. The voice is telling me to open it. Boogie: "Frisk? Come on frisk this isn't funny" I still didn't listen. The voice was getting louder. The lid is half way. Should I stop? Why is this voice telling me to open the coffin? I than push the whole lid off. I looked inside. "Nothing?" Boogie had a look inside as well. Boogie: "wait. Where is there body?" I than grip my head. "Thank you for freeing me darling. Finish what you are doing than me and you will have a chat!" The voice stopped. I got up. Chara: "your alright there frisk? You had me worried" I gave her hand a gently squeeze. "I'm alright. I thought u heard a voice. I guess I didn't. Come on let go" we than left the place where the coffin are at and went back to the throne room. For some reason I feel scared. Like there is a sinister aura just waitting for us. I see a save point. I went and saved. "This is it. Your finally journey. After everything you been though. All the hardest battles you encounter. You never gave up. You stopped believe in kindness. All of that fill you with one thing. Determination!!" We than walk in. There was something on the ground. Looks like dead flowers. I than look forwards. I see someone sitting down. They looked at me. Eyes glowing red. San: "well. You must be the human that I heard Roaming around my underground" he smiled a evil smile. Just looking at him fills me with fear. I looked at Chara and boogie. Looks like they are fill with fear too. I took a step forwards. San: "I heard of what you did. Changing all of the monsters back to what they were" than he slam the ground with his sharp bone weapon. San: "do you know how long until took me to change them!! They believe human show kindness! That they will spare us! They needed to know the truth! They need to know that human hatr us and they want us all to die!! So I had to have the human that fell down here to help!" Wait. Help? What does he mean by that? San: "you want to know? Fine!! Not like it matters if you know it not!" Than the room light up. There alot of dead flowers. San: "I needed to change the monsters! So I used a drone to follow them around! The first monster that would have been a problem was toriel! So I had her dealt with!" Wait. What is he saying? San: "I told the human to kill the monsters to get power! Than as they are killing them I would come out and finish the human off! I would threating toriel to take her captain title away from she doesn't change! I didn't knew there were more Hans falling down here!" Chara step forwards. Chara: "the reason why mom change was because of you!!" I can see the angry. Boogie: "she it was all planned! Everything I did to help them! You planed it all!!" He started laughing. San: "yes flower! Thanks to you all the other monsters followed! The underground became what I wanted it to be! Now you came and change it back to it weak state! But now that you are here! I'm going to kill the three of yous! Than I'm going to hang you body's from my ceiling for all the monsters to see!!" Than he teleport us somewhere. The place was bright. Chara: "we are at the barrier!" So this is the barrier. I never seen anything like this! Than capsules with hearts shapes appear out of the ground. San: "of course I'm going to need your soul! Once I have them I'm going to take over the surface!!" He started laughing. I feel scared but I know that I can't give up. I ready my self. Chara: "this guy is tough! But he not tougher than me!!" Chara ready her knifes. Boogie: "I have done alot of bad things. But right now! I want to do something good for once!!" Boogie ready his Vines and petals. This is it. My battle against a tyrant. It going to be hard. But I won't lose. Not when everyone future is in my hand! "Let do this!!"
(Battle started)
San stands over us. I was about to push act but than he fired blasters at my buttons. He destroy my act button and mercy button. Than my item button. San: "why should we play by rules! When they are ment to be broken!!" He than ready his attacks. He send bones at us. Just like papyrus but more red. They were fast. Boogie helps me dodge Tham as Chara destroy ones that are incoming. We dodge his attacks. Chara: "great! Without the mercy button all you have are attacks!" Boogie: "I'll try and search for the pieces! If we are lucky we can rebuild it back!" No that won't work. He would keep destroying and destroying it. I'm going to need to think of a plan. "Don't. If we do he will keep destroying it. I'm going to think of a plan" they nodded. That the best call. I don't want them to risk there life's. All we can do is try to survive. San: "your not going to fight!? How weak are you human! Chara has more balls than you and she a female!" I dont think Chara took that as a compliment. Chara: "why don't I show you how much balls I have!!" She charge at him. "Chara wait!" Chara got close. Her eyes glow a big red and he push him down. She had knife in the air. They were coming down at him. He dodge them at the last moment. San: "you almost got me there!!" It looks like he took a bit of damage. I looked at the barrier. I than look at the souls. I got it! "I know how we can win!" Chara went over to me. Chara: "you have a plan?" I nodded. "But we are going to need him to be weak or slip up. When he does or when he is weak boogie I want you to Tangle him up with your vines.  hold him as long as you can. Chara you will be helping me!" Chara: "with what?" I point at the barrier. "You are going to help me destroy that barrier!" They were surprised. Boogie: "Frisk are you sure that a good idea? After that his goal!" I look at them serious. "I am" they knew what I mean. Chara: "Ok let me know when you want to begin. I'm going to enjoy weaking him!" I than pull out a knife that I had in my pocket. This knife has been with me ever since I left my house. I never I'll use it. But I'll leave the hurting to boogie and Chara. I'm going to use it to protect my self. San than send bone looking blasters at us. We both were able to dodge them. Chara charge as boogie send petals at him. He was able to dodge Chara attack and grab her by the throat. Than boogie petals hit him. Dealing 200 damage. That hit made him let go of Chara. Chara jump back. Chara: "your not getting a thanks from me flower" boogie: "I didn't ask for it" San than turn our souls blue and send blue attacks at us. We started dodging dodging. I got hit by one taking my hp down to 10. Boogie hand me a item. It restore my hp to full. Boogie than send petals at him. He dodge them but dodge into Chara slash. Dealing 300 damage. San than send alot of bones at us. I started destroying some of them with my knife until one of the bones hit it out of my hand. I was about to grab it until bones hit me in the back. I can feel them Pierce my back. I struggle to breath. San was about to send more until boogie used his Vines to grab his arm and pull it down. Than chara raise knifes out of the ground under him. She ran to my side. Chara: "here! Eat this!" She handed me a chocolate. I ate it. I can feel the bones getting pushed out of my back as it seal the wounds. "Thanks" she smiled. Chara: "I'm always looking out for my sweetie" I got up. San was able to get out of boogie Vines and Chara knifes. San: "why don't you all just die already!!" He charge at us with his sharp bone that he Carries. I dodge it as chara blocks it with her knife. Boogie send petals at him as he dodge. Chara went to slash him. He dodge it. He than went to stab me with his bone. I dodge it. Boogie used this time to send petals at his hand. Making him drop the bone. Chara grab it and swing it at him. He summon bones from the ground to block it. Boogie than grab Chara and threw her up. She than quick descend to San as he send bones to hit her. She got close and hit him deing 600 damage. He used his magic to bring the bone back into his hand. He send blasters at us. Chara got damage by a few but she still moving. Some of them nearly hit boogie as he lost one of his petals on his face. They were firing and firing none stop. Chara than saw a opening and threw her knife. San summon bones from underground to block it. As he unsummons we were ready above him. Chara readys to slash as boogie summons alot of petals. He point his hand to us as more blasters fire at us. We were able to dodge Tham and get closer. Chara slash as boogie petals hit him. Dealing 500 damage and 400 damage. His hp is half. We are nearly there. Just a little more. He sweating. He swings his bone weapon at us. We started dodging. I got hit by it sending me into the wall. Taking my hp down to 8. He send blue attacks at us. Boogie blocked with his Vines. He than past me a item to heal my self. Boogie than used his Vines to grab san and throw him into the wall. Chara than slash him dealing 450 damage. We are almost there. He than used his magic to lift Chara and boogie up in the air. San: "I thought it would be easy to kill the three of yous! Guess I was wrong" he cover them with bones. Looks like it just me. I pick up my knife that was on the Ground. I can feel my hand shaking. I dont want to kill him. I need to be careful. He smiled evil. San: "look at you! So weak and scared! You shouldn't have gotten yourself involved in my business! Now you got to pay the price!!" He than send blaster and bones at me. I started dodging them. Than he swings his bone weapon at me. Than bones started appearing unground. I was able to dodge them. Than blue attacks. I was able to dodge them too. Than he started slaming me around the place. My hp is going down fast. He than raise me up. San: "any last words?" I looked at him. "Go fuck your self!" I than threw my knife at where Chara was at and she broke free. San: "is that all? What a waste!" Than a blaster nearly hit him as he dodge. San: "what!?" I see San blasters next to her. Chara: "I guess you can say. I have a few secrets up my sleeves" she used it to free boogie. Boogie: "took your time chara" he planted him self in the ground. Vines came out of the ground. Chara: "i don't know what frisk has planed but I do know that it will work. All that needs to happen is you to stop" she than fire more of his blasters at him as he fire his ones. His magic let me go as I land on my feet. I watched as he try to push back. But he losing. Chara walks closer as boogie readys him self. Chara than appear infront of san. She slash him dealing 800 damage. San was on his knees. "Now boogie!!" Boogie Vines went all over san body. Covering everything. Holding him. I ran over to the capsules. "Chara!" She nodded and slash at the capsules. I than hold my hand out as they went over to me. I than feel there power as I force them into my body. I can feel this power. So much that it hurts! I point my hand to the barrier as a glow appear. It got bigger and bigger until it left my hand and hit the barrier. I big flash of light happen.
"Barrier is destroyed!"
I open my eyes. There a sun light. It worked. I fell to my knees. Chara: "Frisk!!" She ran to my side. I'm catching my breath. Boogie move over to us. Boogie: "you did it frisk!"

They hug me as I hug them back. Chara: "you really did it. You destroyed the barrier!" Than my soul appeared but I different. It not red. It white. Boogie: "oh no. That must have took alot of your determination. Now it white" what different does it makes? Chara: "without your determination. You won't be appear to save or reset" oh. That what they mean. I smiled. "It alright. I don't min-" than I feel a sharp pain in my chest. I looked down to see a bone impale in my chest. Chara: "No!!" I feel my body hitting the ground. I don't know what else is happening. But I can hear boogie telling her to stop. Boogie: "stop Chara! We already won!" I can feel Chara rage. She really angry. Chara: "you stupid king! You no goof skeleton!!" I want to stop her. "Ch....a..ra" I was able to say as blood started leaking out of my mouth. I can hear footsteps running. Chara hold me up to see her and boogie. Chara: "I'm here sweetie! I'm here!" I can see her fear. I hold up my hand as chars and boogie took it. "This...maybe....the last time.....I see you guys" they grip it harder. Chara: "no frisk. Don't leave! Just stay awake I'll get dad and he can heal you up! Yeah I promise your going to be ok!" I can see tears welling up on her eyes. Boogie eyes are already tearing up. "I...don't....have....much....time....let....me say......something...to...you both" they rub there eyes. I can feel there tears hitting my face. "Boogie......you were there.....when I was......alone......you protected......me when......you knew......that you.....didn't.......stand a.....chance" boogie nodded. I can see him wanting to try and save me. "Thank.....you.....for....always....
Never.....giving....up......it.....help me....stay....determination" more tears was coming out. "Chara" I know it hurting her the most. Watching someone she loves dieing in her hand. "When I......first....saw you......I was.....already......falling....for...you....I wanted......to..... prove you.....wrong that....monster....can change" chara: "which you did! You prove me that everyone can be nice if they just try but please frisk! Don't go! I can't live without you!" He tears hit my faces. I can feel a smiled appearing. "Don't...cry.....it alright......I'm happy to go......happy......to have......met people...happy....to have....falling......in love....with someone" she grip my hand tight. I can feel my eyes getting heavy to keep open. "Thank you.....for....everything Chara.....I...love you" chara: "I love you too! I love you too!" She try not to close her eyes. I can't leave yet. Not without it. "Can.....I get....a kiss?" She wiped her eyes. Than our lips connected. I had my eyes open to remember this. To burn this very moment into my mind. She pull back. I smiled as I looked at boogie and Chara on more time. I closed my eyes. Knowing that I'm leaving this world behind. Chara: "no! NOOOOOOO!!!!!!"
