You didn't look back.

The man almost caught you, he must've been a hashira.

You checked back, you noticed how insane your stamina had increased since you arrived to the village. You stopped in your tracks, noticing you'd gotten far enough from where they were. You looked around, feeling a little breeze on your leg, you looked down to see why it felt so cold.

That bitch.

He didn't catch up to you but he certainly did leave a mark.

And I just fixed this.

You felt your legs being cut, you immediately dropped to the ground, your legs quickly regrew. You looked around to see who attacked you. Grabbed your gun from under your dress.

You heard someone's presence behind you, quickly turning to see a large man with jewelry dangling from his head.

He tilted his head, looked down at you. He seemed disgusted.

"So you're the one who killed all those men? Your vile."

You smiled back up at him, "Just doing what we all do to live, are you going to try and kill me or should I just kill you now?" You asked pointing the gun in his face.

"Listen demon, I haven't got the strengths to defeat you as of currently. Iguro might be pissed but he knows it and I know it too. Going into battle with you will do me no good." He confessed.

You don't know why you hadn't shot him yet, his explanation decreased your drive to kill him. Sort of sympathizing with him.

"Well, I mean I enjoy the complimenting and all but I'm not like you-" You pointed the gun to his stomach, and pulled the trigger.

He flew back, laying on the floor. You were shocked to see that he didn't groan in pain, the bullets you use hurt ten time more than a regular one.

But suddenly you heard him mutter something.

"Now... Iguro." He coughed up blood.

You quickly got up and scanned the area. Until you felt a small cut around your neck, you dodged quickly and ran out of the way.

You saw a man with long back hair and a mask covering his face, he spared no time running up to you and attempting to stab you.

You moved as fast as you could, shooting at whatever angle seemed best. The man was small but moved at an incredible pace. Definitely a strong hashira.

Before you could shoot any more you felt myself being picked up, you didn't process much for the first ten seconds till you realized...

Akaza saved me?

Those are the lines navy that his body has... he really saved me?

"Hey hey, you ok? I'm here now." He pulled held you tightly in his arms running into the night.

"Yea I'm fine, you should've let me finish that bastard off I already killed his partner." You tried to sound confident, but both of you knew how tense you really were.

"Those hashira plot well, and one would be glad to give their life if it men killing a kizuki. But I've noticed how much stronger you've gotten, we could probably try this out on a different-"

"No." You cut him off.

"What do you mean no?"

"I don't want, I can't say that. But you know exactly what I mean." You tried to explain the best you could, knowing Muzan couldn't eavesdrop on anything you said.

Fathers, brothers, uncles, and grandpas were all slain at the hands of you tonight. You never felt so much shame yet so much power.

"I get it, I'm surprised you didn't go off and kill the women and kids." He chuckled.

"Yea I am too, by the last house I assumed I was just going to give up and kill everyone." I tried to laugh this off, unsure of whether this would give me a positive or negative response from him.

"Yea, you get used to it after the 3rd village massacre." He spoke.

There was silence, this whole time he kept running. Even though to someone else it would seem as if God himself were running around the earth, it felt normal.

However, you did notice a couple of things. This was unusual of Akaza, pulling you in close, his hand gripped on your thigh, the conversation that went without insults being thrown at each other.

Was he finally warming up to me?

"The dojo should be close, we can make it in time. We'll train even more when we get there."

You sighed, "Is every day just training and massacres for you?"

"Well yea, I am a demon after all. And you are too. What's with you going all soft? Have the humans really brainwashed you this much?" He teased.

"No, it's just training gets boring from time to time asshole."

"There it is." He laughed.

You snapped back at him, "You know sometimes I get that I'm annoying but when your annoying it's just something different."

"Of course I am."

When we finally arrived at the dojo, you noticed a tall figure inside the infamous training room. When Akaza placed you down in front of the dojo you quickly walked inside to see who it was.

That urge to kill hadn't fully left, if it were a human it'd be an extremely unlucky day for them.

But it wasn't a human.

"Lord Douma?" You asked.

"Lady Y/n!" He waved.

"What are you doing here?"

"I came here to tell you something, I'd prefer if we spoke privately! I can feel Lord Akaza's presence did you guys get back from something?" Douma tilted his head.

His big smile brightened me up, he was like a kid. Even if his emotions were fake it felt real to you.

"Yea we just came back, I killed some 15-20 people I believe?" You chuckled wiping some dried blood off your dress.

"That's nice! I feel your power, stronger than before. I see Akaza isn't behind you nor do I feel his presence anymore so I'll just come out and say it." He smiled, he hid his obvious red cheeks from you.

"I like you!"
