2 - Betrayal

After talking with Kaye, I received the email from the airline that Kaye contacted.

I took a deep sigh before I went to my closet and took my bag where I hid the money I saved for months.

"I don't know if this is enough but I'll make it work" I cheered myself

I carefully went downstairs as my nanny looked at me with tears on her eyes

"It's okay. I'll be okay" I assured her

"Why did you not took the exam? You should have took it and then decide afterwards, you naughty girl" she told me

"I'll be fine, don't worry. Just please watch my Dad for me. I won't face either of you two until I've proved myself" I stated before giving her a tight hug

"What do you mean you won't face u—" she was still talking but got cut by my Dad

"Haneul, get in the car now" he commanded

"Sir, wait... She doesn't know how to—" she again started talking

"She'll be fine. She has to learn her lesson" Dad just told her

I gave my nanny a soft pat on her back and walked my way to our car

Inside our car, I was seated next to my Dad but I never dare to look at him nor answer his questions.

"Why did you do that?"

"All I ask for is to take that course and everything will be fine"

"Why did you change all of a sudden?"

"You were a good kid, you never disobey and disappoint us"

"Why did you betray me?"

Dad didn't stop nagging and questioning until we reached at the airport

I just shrugged and went out of the car, didn't dare to look at my Dad

"I'm fine here. I know where to go" I told my Dad's secretary as he just looked at my Dad for his permission

"Let her" Dad told him

I bluntly took my luggage from him right when I heard my Dad's answer

"Mrs. Williams and your body guards will be waiting for you at the Airport. I know, you won't give them a headache" he told me

"Will you look at me while I'm talking, Sim Hanuel?!" He then authoritatively stated as I also did what he said
