Long ago in land inhabited by all magical creatures there was a prophecy written. That one day the magical and great kingdom of Haven would be destroyed and conquered by King Ajax's' evil brother, Deucalion, who had been banished many years ago.

The prophecy also stated that four children born of royalty and pure hearted would rise and stop Deucalion's hateful reign and bring stability and peace back to the kingdom. Deucalion, fearing this part of the prophecy sent his trolls all over the land, especially to Haven, where the kingdom was celebrating the birth of the new heir to the throne.

The trolls sought out the castle and waited for the child to be put to bed. They then swept the child out from its room and set fire to the castle and town. The King, knowing who had committed this crime sent his fairy warriors to track down and bring his child back.

The trolls being as "smart" as they were hid the child in a bush to come find and dispose of later and led the fairies down a false path. Moments later an old woman out for a midnight stroll grieving the lose of her husband hears the child's soft whimpers.

Meanwhile, the fairies lose track of the trolls and the baby, head back to the castle to tell the King and Queen of their failure. The trolls, thinking they had finally done something right, head back to the bush to retrieve the child, only to find nothing but a piece of silver fur.
