Now we jump ahead 17 years later to a girl named Aurora Rose Skylar Taptiklis but she goes by Sky Taptiklis. She is a relativity normal girl besides being half fairy and half harpy and having a wolf as a best friend. She even looked normal. Having blonde hair kept always in a braid, and normal nose and mouth, but then there was the pointy ears, and the red eyes and of course the wings. But she was still normal.

"Okay we get it. I'm somewhat normal besides some of my abnormal features. Now would you please shut up!"

Well how rude. Did I forget to mention the fact that she has no respect for her elders or people trying the explain the story?

"I have respect. Just not to Oracles who wont keep their trap shut when I'm trying to hunt."

Well I never...

"Listen I'm sorry but would you please leave and do the whole narrating with someone else. Like Perse or Herc even."

Fine... I shall leave you and your beast alone.

"His name is Ahsoka and he his not a beast he is my best friend."

And with that I take my leave.

"Jeez. I thought she would never leave," I say with a sigh. Now I can finally get back to my hunt. I turn towards Ahoska who has been preoccupied with a tree. "Hey, Ahsoka. You still smell the buck?"

He continued to sniff one more time then he looked up at me with a confused look. I gave him my best, really?, look and he shook his head yes.

"Lead the way."

He barked, put his nose to the ground and headed west. I followed close behind ready with my knife just in case any unwanted guests decided to join our party. This part of the woods wasn't necessarily safe. We continued about another mile before Ahsoka abruptly stopped causing me to topple over him.

"A little warning next time would be nice," I say while rubbing my now hurting head.

Sorry, I hear in my head.

"It's alright."

I look out in front of us to the buck we had been following all day. I look around for a vantage point and find the perfect tree to snipe from. I started to climb but was interrupted by Ahsoka dashing in front of me making me fall once more.

"Really Ahsoka? Really?" I asked snidely.

He looked down at me with those puppy eyes that make me melt every time he asks for a treat. This time melting away my anger that had started to build inside. I then began to climb once more looking out to make sure Ahsoka wasn't planning on jumping on me.

I finally get to the top and layed down on the sturdiest of branches. I pull my bow off from around my back and knock a arrow. I pull back my bow aiming it towards the buck that was around 80 feet away. I breathed in and then out holding my breathe while closing my eyes to keep my bow steady. I opened my eyes and released my arrow.

The arrow went whizzing through the air straight towards the buck's hind causing him to fall to the round with a thud. Ahsoka then proceeded to howl a very loud howl in my ear and started running towards the buck.

"Wait for me!" I yelled with a smile. He turned around to look at me and yelped indicating that he had no intention of stopping.

I finally caught up to him, somewhat out of breathe (lets just say I'm not a runner), and saw that he had just finished off the buck.

"Good job. Now let's go home." I say completely worn out. He smiled at me (didn't know that was possible) and we headed home.

My house was coming into view. It was nothing fancy or special, just a simple cobble stone home, which was special enough for me. I walked up to the front door with Ahoska by my side and the buck on his back. Before we went inside I took the buck off of Ahsoka and set it by the door. The last time I brought a kill inside my mother threw this huge fit about dead things and them not belonging in our home. I opened the door letting Ahsoka in first and the first thing i see is my mother making dinner.

"Hello Mother," I said.

"Hello," she said with a smile. My mother's name is Jewel. To me mother is a jewel and perfect in every way. She is kind, caring, and she always has a smile on her face (even when I don't listen to her which happens more times than not). I love her with all my heart and I wonder every day how she puts up with for this long.

"Did you catch anything good?" she asks without turning around. She always says catch not kill. It has always bothered her that I hunt. If I didn't who would?

"Yup. A buck that's around 300 pounds. I'll take it to the butcher in town tomorrow to see how much we can get for it.

"That sounds wonderful! Come now let's eat and do not even think about putting that bow on my dinner table!" she demanded. She was still facing the stove as she said this. Sometimes it's like she has eyes on the back of head, but trust me I've checked of many of times.

After dinner I did all the dishes and said goodnight to my mother and headed to my room to go to sleep with Ahsoka on my tail (I do not actually have a tail). As i was drifting into sleep I was hoping with all my heart that i wouldn't have the dream. But as usual the gods weren't listening.

It started the same as every night. There's laughing and celebrating for something but i never could quite tell what it was. Then as if day turned to night the sky went black only to light up again but not with sunlight, fire. People began running and screaming trying to get away but to no avail. I hear this laugh that sends shivers up my spine and awake with a cold sweat forming. The dreams have been feeling more real every night. This night i felt the heat from the fire. I reached over and touched my arm where its burned with what looks like to me a raven. My mum says not to worry about it, but i still couldn't help but wonder if it was on my arm for a reason, I even thought sometimes that someone had meant to out it on my arm.
