Ray's Karate Kid Journey Part III

Chapter 9: An Unexpected Encounter

Ray had decided to contact his dad and the policemen to come in this mall and rescue him and his friends in a hidden dojo. They asked him why and he told them everything they knew. Everyone was in total shock to hear this. All including Brian, Diona and Bon Dieu.

"Bonnie is the thief?!" he heard Bon Dieu and Luke saying in unison.

"Yes. Well, not exactly. I just realized that Bonnie happened to be a spy for the real culprit," said Ray.

"So Bonnie is the culprit's assistant?" Rodd asked through his cellphone.

"Yeah, exactly. I'll explain the whole story later. Right now, you need to come here and get us out."

"Okay. We're on our way," said Jonathan.

With that being said, they all hung up their phones.

After he put his cellphone back in his backpack, he turned to see four pairs of eyes looking at him.

"Are you really sure Bonnie will count as the lead?" asked Diona.

"Yes. Yes, I'm sure. After we get out we'll all go out looking for her. Then, we'll ask her for answers. Especially this..." His voice started to threaten a bit darkly. "Who. Is. The real. Culprit?"

Around one hour later, they heard a click coming from the door. Their heads shot towards the door as they heard it open. It was revealed to be Rodd, Jonathan and Luke.

"Hey, dad. I knew you'd come," said Ray.

"Well, you're not the only one who knew," he heard Diona's voice.

Both he and Rodd chuckled at what she just said.

"We made contact with the manager. He could not believe there's an assistant like Bonnie working for him," said Jonathan.

"And she is the key to finding out who the real thief is," said Luke. "Speaking of, who are your two new allies?"

"I'm Bon Dieu and this is Sensei Brian," Ray heard the voice of a certain Starbucks employee. "He's not like any other Cobra Kai senseis like Kreese and Silver. Though he's aggressive, he can also be a softie sometimes."

"Let's not talk too much about it, okay? We've gotta look for Bonnie before she blinds us with no clues and evidence," said Brian.

"Actually, we caught her right-handed," said Luke.

Four heads turned to Luke. "Wait, really?"

"Yup. Jonathan pinned her down while I got the key."

"The next thing we did was leave her to the policemen to have some 'reasonable' talk," said Jonathan.

"So does that mean we're going to the police station, then?" asked Ray.

"You read our minds!" Luke replied in happiness.

Later on, they were already at the PNP (Philippine National Police) Station. They had already got help from Bonnie's big brother along the way. When they met him, they learned that his name is Philippe Ross. He had dark brown spiky hair with red leather jacket. He also had white shirt with dark blue ripped jeans. As for his footwear, it was black and white rubber shoes.

The room the whole gang was currently in was a dark room. But don't worry. It's not exactly dark. You can see nothing but the small square-shaped wooden table with the light bulb hanging above it. Behind the wooden table was Bonnie herself tied in a wooden chair with ropes.

Diona's camera was currently in Ray's hands pretending that he's holding it just to take care of it. In reality, he was actually recording the whole thing in secret, so that he could show evidence to the manager in the House of Pancakes.

"So, Bonnie Ross. Tell me what you know about the real thief," Ray told her.

"I'm not telling you," said Bonnie.
"We really wanna know who you were working with. Brian knows your brother and your brother knows you," said Diona.

"Philippe," she whispered.

"So we wanna learn who your boss is. We won't tell anyone about this. We promise."

"None of your business, sweet-talker," said Bonnie in a stern tone.

"No, we insist," said Bon Dieu.

Just as he opened his mouth to continue on, a loud bang on the floor was heard. According to Ray's gut-feeling, it was Bonnie's foot that managed to stomp the floor really heard. It was so loud he can even hear echoing sounds bouncing off the walls.

"Get out of here. All of you. You too, brother. I don't want you here" was all she said after that.

"Don't make them get out of here. It is I, who should tell them," a mysterious, manly, smooth-talking voice suddenly told her.

This time, all heads whipped around in the direction of the sudden unfamiliar voice. In this direction was a shadowy figure. About a bit taller than the waiter. It also has a cap, a jacket, pants and rubber shoes. Ray's fingers moved the camera in that same direction.

This must be the same shadowy figure the manager talked to us about, Ray thought.

"What are you gonna tell us?" he asked out loud.

"I'm not telling you," said the shadowy figure.

As he said this, he walked into the light to make everything clear to the whole gang on who the real culprit is. They were all in total immediate shock as they saw who the real culprit is. You can see his fingers removing a brown wooden cigarette from his mouth.

"Because I think you already know."
