This wasn't even possible. How could her luck be so bad? The Cresent Pack, was here, even after all the lengths she had to take to avoid this pack, yet here she was.

She had come full circle. How long has it been, for long years? Four years without seeing her mom, her dad, her little sister, and her mate.

But at least he had been faithful to her throughout the whole time. He hadn't cheated on her in all four years as she hadn't felt any pain through their mate bond, so that was something.

As she lay in bed with her daughter Essence, she knew that the time was fast approaching for all secrets to be unfolded. She wanted to protect her daughter from everything and everyone.

She didn't want anyone to have an opportunity to even think about hurting her. Summer knew that she would kill anyone who dare attempt to harm her child.

She was after all an Alpha's daughter, in more ways than one. Her fighting skills were far superior to children her age. Summer wondered if he would feel as pride in his daughter as she felt.

She believed that despite not wanting her for a mate, she was a Gamma child born with Alpha blood. Her fighting skills were far above average.

"Wake up Essence, they will be here soon."

Summer told her as she watched her daughter get up from bed. She had been physed for days. As soon as she heard that the pack was coming, it was as if she felt a bond forming. Her father was coming...or rather they were going to meet her father. Summer wondered how Essence would deal with the revelation. How a 4-year-old would process something as complete as a broken mate bond between mates?

"Mom, I have a feeling that something spectacular is going to happen today."

Essence said as she twirled around in the bed.

"Me too, no let's have a bathe and get you dressed before they arrive you know you will probably have to train the kids."

Summer said as Essence jumped up and down on the bed. It was hard to remember that she was just a child, with the complexity of her thought process and logical skills, she certainly did not act like one.

"Yeah, but make sure you go easy on them. You know they are not as skilled as you are, and we don't want to break their spirit."

Summer as Essence pouted. 'Why was it that she had to go easy on them? If they couldn't handle the heat, then they had no business being a part of the pack.'

"I make no such promises mom, you never went "

Essence said that she made her way to the shower. At 4 1\2 years old, she could do what most people couldn't do until their twenties, basically how to take care of herself. Summer got up and started to get dressed. Ten minutes later Essence emerged fully clothed and ready to go.

"Let's go get some breakfast."

Summer said as Essence followed behind her. As she entered the kitchen she saw one of the pack members, Emily, making breakfast.

"Good morning, Gamma Summer."

She said as Summer smiled.

"Good morning Emily, what's for breakfast?"

Summer asked as Emily smiled back at her.

"Well, we have eggs, pancakes, coffee, or anything else that you may want, Gamma Summer."

Emily said as Summer nodded in appreciation.

"No need to be so formal."

Summer said as Essence chuckled.
