Essence stared at the little boy they had just pushed into the cell. As their eyes match the world stopped right with him. The only thing he could see was her and the only thing she could see was him.

"Mate."

They said in unison. The boy walked towards Essence.

"Mate, aren't you too young for that?"

Caitlyn asked as Essence remained focused on the boy.

"My name is Cameron."

He said as a sense felt her inside warm.

"I'm Essence."

She said as he drew her closer to him.

"Mine."

He whispered in her neck making her blush.

"Well isn't that sweet? You're both meet and so young what are you both like 5 years old?"

Alpha Dylan mocked as Cameron pushed a sense slightly behind him

"6."

He said making Alpha Dylan laugh.

"Yeah, because that's such a big difference."

Dylan said as he smiled and looked at Essence.

"You may have a hold over Aunty Caitlyn, but you and I both know and are way too valuable. If you hurt my mate you could kill me and I know for a fact that you need me alive and well for your little werewolf domination plan."

Essence said as Alpha Dylan huffed.

"You know Essence there's a reason the gods didn't create children with a lot of common sense, but I think he made a mistake with you."

Alpha Dylan said as he pushed Cameron towards Essence.

"It looks like you live to see another day. How unfortunate."

Alpha Dylan said as Essence rushed over the Cameron.

"Are you okay?"

Essence ask Cameron as he nodded.

"I'm fine."

Cameron said as Caitlyn sighed.

"Dylan, what are you doing?"

Caitlyn asked as her eyes roamed over Essence's and Cameron's bodies, checking for injuries.

"Nothing, just showing the kids who the boss is."

Dylan said as Caitlyn sighed.

"Don't hurt them."

She said as Dylan huffed and walked away.

"You would do well to remember your place b*tch "

He said as he walked away.

"I'm so sorry. I wish I could help you."

Caitlyn said as she looked at both of them.

"You can. Tell mommy where I am. I know that she, daddy, and grandpa will come for me."

Essence said as Caitlyn nodded.

"I'll do this for you. For both of you. You're good kids and you don't deserve this."

Caitlyn said as the tears streamed down her face.

"It's okay Auntie Caitlyn, I forgave you. I understand. It's just unfortunate that he's your mate."

Essence said as Caitlyn reached through the bars and touched her hair.

"I'm going to make this right."

...

"Any leads?"

Summer asked Tyler as she entered his study with his Beta Chuck.

"Not yet?"

He said quietly. There must be something that there are overlooking.

'Or someone... Children just don't vanish into thin air like that.'

Damon said as Tyler thought carefully about what Damon had said. Essence was in the boat ahead of them. She disappeared while she was in the tunnels. She didn't scream or make any sound of the alarm. That simply meant that whoever took her, she was familiar with them. Now, who would have any reason to take his daughter away from him? What was their motive? Who wants him? That's when it all clicked together...Chloe. Tyler stormed out of the office, his eyes turning the color of death. He pushed open the door to Chloe's room.

"Who the hell...oh Alpha.."

She said seductively but both Tyler and Damon felt the urge to tear her to pieces. He wanted to vomit at the sight of her. Was she always this trashy? And to think there was a time he tried to use her to replace Summer. He must have been mentally unstable. That was the only explanation he could come up with. She was dressed in short pink booty shorts with a pink tube top on. She was so unsightly in his eyes, what could he ever have tried to see in her? Imagine he considered making her Luna at one point in time.

"How may I help you?"

Chloe asked as she moved close to Tyler.

"Stay where you are. I'm going to ask you this one time. Do you have anything to do with my child's disappearance?"

Tyler asked as Chloe scoffed.

"Like I would be seen dead with that b*tch's child. It would ruin my reputation. "

Chloe said as Tyler's eyes narrowed to slits. He was well aware of her reputation, hell the entire pack was well aware of her reputation. Damon took over as he lunged at Chloe holding her up by the neck.

"Listen, Chloe, I have a very short fuse. I want my child and I want my mate happy and safe."

His grip tightened around her neck cutting off her air supply.

"So if by chance you have anything to do with my child's disappearance now would be the time to speak up."

Tyler said as Chloe tried to speak. Just then the Beta Chuck walked by and ran to Chloe's aid.

"Get a grip man."

Beta Chuck shouted at Tyler as he let go of Chloe and she started to gasp for air.

"It's fine. Just breathe, deep breath of air."

Beta Chuck said as Chloe did so.

"Now answer my question."

Tyler demanded as Chloe cried.

"I swear on my makeup and my Chanel handbag, I will never hurt or capture your child. Yeah, I hate them but I'm not that smart to pull it off."

Chloe said as Tyler considered her words. She was right. She wasn't smart enough to be the inside man. But there was an I-side man among them. He could feel it. It was just a matter of time before he find out who it was. And he would find them, they had no place left to hide.
