Chapter 10: The Old Man

Anastasia told everything to Nolan and was planning to rescue Daniel and Elizabeth. They turned on the TV for the news and an Old Man was telling them about the Blood Master. They couldn't see the Old Man. Anastasia thought she was familiar with him. Anastasia figured out that everything the Old Man told was the same as Alex told him. The News Channel declared him mental. Anastasia thought she should see him.

Anastasia: Nolan I think we should meet him.

Nolan: Why?

Anastasia: I think he can help us.

Nolan: Where will we find him?

Anastasia: If he knows everything then it means Alex knows him as well.

Nolan: We can't go to Alex. We need a plan.

Anastasia: We are going back to my house. We will find something there.

Nolan: Are you sure?

Anastasia: it's the only way we can beat Alex.

Anastasia took Nolan back to her house and they started looking for clues. Anastasia went to Alex's room and found a book. Everything was written in a cipher code. Anastasia was good at it and she de-coded it. The names of the people who enslaved them for The Blood Master and their Biography were written there. Anastasia found the first person who was enslaved by The Blood Master. His name was Steele Price. He was none other than the Father of Anastasia Steele and Alex Steele. Anastasia got shocked and drowned in the thought that everything in her life was a lie. She couldn't trust anyone now. Her whole life was a life. Her father betrayed him. It felt like she was never a part of her family.

Nolan: Found something?

Anastasia: I found everything.

Nolan: What?

Anastasia: I found the Old Man.

Nolan:  Who is he?

Anastasia: He was my Father. He lied to me and my mother.

Nolan: Wait he was also a slave of the Blood Master. Maybe he is an Ex-Slave of his.

Anastasia: I think we should leave it. We just have to rescue Dan and Elizabeth.

Nolan: This Old Man can help us. He can guide us. After all, he is your father.

Anastasia: What if he is a trap?

Nolan: What if he isn't?

Anastasia: I don't want Dan and Elizabeth to die.

Nolan: Look it's worth a risk. Look for his address. Maybe it's written there.

Anastasia: Yes it's written.

Nolan: Then we should go.

Anastasia: I can't.

Nolan: You can. Trust yourself.

Anastasia sighed and they both went to the address which was written in Alex's secret diary. Anastasia knocked on the door and there was no response. She knocked it multiple times but still, there was no response. Nolan kicked the door and it opened. It was a scary big mansion just like Anastasia's house. It was dark and there was no clue of a Human. Suddenly, there was a bell ringing in one of the rooms. It was a very scary ringing. It was like someone was ringing it with their hands. Nolan kicked the door and an Old Man was sitting with his back on their side with white hair. Nolan asked while pointing a gun toward him.

Nolan: Who are you?

The Old Man: I was waiting for you.

Nolan: For who?

The Old Man: My girl is here.

Anastasia: I'm not your girl.

The Old Man: I'm your father.

Anastasia: Turn around.

The Old Man turned around and Anastasia saw that his eyes were plucked out. His face looked like it was burned. Anastasia realized that he was his father (Steele Price) but not the one she left.

Anastasia: What happened to you?

Steele: Very much happened.

Anastasia: Who did this to you?

Steele: The dark energy.

Nolan: What dark energy?

Steele: It is very dark and cruel. Don't follow that darkness. You will be lost.

Anastasia: Look Father. You have to tell us everything. My friends are in danger.

Steele: You got friends. Ana, I missed you.

Anastasia: You lied to me. You lied to my mother.

Steele: I didn't lie. I wanted to keep you guys safe.

Anastasia: I don't want to be saved. Why would you bring danger back to our house when you knew that it would harm us?

Steele: Who is this guy with you?

Nolan: I'm Nolan and...

Steele: Whoever you are leave us alone. We have a lot to discuss.

Nolan: Should I leave Anastasia?

Anastasia: Yes Nolan. We have a lot to discuss.

Nolan: Scream if you feel unsafe.

Steele: I'm his father asshole.

Nolan left the room. Anastasia and his father met after a very long time. They had to sort out their problems. Anastasia wanted to know the truth to rescue Daniel and Elizabeth. Steele was an Old Man and was a victim of an unknown entity. Anastasia would get all the answers from his father.
