Chapter 14: The Journey: Part 2

Anastasia and Nolan stopped by to eat something. Which is called "The Pineapple Pizza". Anastasia was not up to eating that flavored pizza but Nolan insisted so she agreed to him. Nolan was trying to divert her attention from everything that happened. They ordered a Pineapple Pizza and it was served at their table.

Nolan: Look here it is.

Anastasia: Yes I can see.

Nolan: Just try it.

Anastasia: Okay wait.

Anastasia took a bite of the slice and she made the worst face possible by eating something.

Nolan: It is good right?

Anastasia: No it is shit.

Nolan: You are shit.

Anastasia: Shut up.

Nolan: Why do you girls only have this thing to say?

Anastasia: Can you order something else?

Nolan: Okay Women.

Nolan ordered another flavor for her because Anastasia did not enjoy the Pineapple pizza. They ate their respective meals and then they moved on to reach their destination. 

Anastasia: How much time is left?

Nolan: What?

Anastasia: Do I have to explain everything?

Nolan: Yes.

Anastasia: How much time it will take until we reach that place?

Nolan: Approximately 12 hours.

Anastasia: It was just outside the city and we are out of the city for 12 hours.

Nolan: It was way more out of the city.

Anastasia: Your car doesn't even have music.

Nolan: I don't listen to music.

Anastasia: What do you do if you are traveling alone?

Nolan: I don't do anything. I just focus on driving like I am playing a game.

Anastasia: You are dark.

Nolan: I am white.

Anastasia: It was not a racist comment. I meant your soul is dark. Seems like you are a very broken person.

Nolan: I'm not broken like that.

Anastasia: Like?

Nolan: I mean I never lost my Juliet. I just never got my mother. I didn't get a father.

Anastasia: You got them but they never got you. They didn't deserve you.

Nolan: No one deserves me.

Anastasia: Hey it's not like that. You are a good person. You just need to find yourself because finding yourself is the real purpose of our lives. We never do anything for ourselves. We always do something which is not completely selfish. Sometimes we should just sit and close our eyes and just find ourselves.

Nolan: I think it's life. You just can't be happy.

Anastasia: You can. Of course, You can.

Nolan: Not always.

Anastasia: You have to believe in yourself and just have to try to move through difficult situations. 

Nolan: I think I have a lot to catch up in life.

Anastasia: Life always teaches you even in your 90s'

Nolan: You are right.

Anastasia: I think we still have a lot of roads to cover.

Nolan: You can sleep if you want.

Anastasia: Yes I should.

Nolan: Goodnight.

Anastasia: Goodnight.

Anastasia slept because she was tired and she also felt safe around Nolan. Nolan was the person Anastasia trusted after Daniel. Nolan also felt that someone is there for him. Anastasia was the first person who talked with Nolan and tried to understand him. Nolan was the person who would never talk with anyone or would never talk politely but he talked with Anastasia like a son talks to her mother. Nolan looked like a thug but from inside he was a child who was never discovered. He never got the chance to be immature. He never got the chance to act childish. Anastasia explored and calmed his soul.
