BANG

The loud noise of Jaeden's gun took Parker out of his thoughts. "You know, if you don't want wanna die that night, you might want to work on your aim, buddy," Kornelia said while walking in the range and taking a seat behind the guys. "Whatever," Jaeden replied, rolling his eyes. "Are you going to practice?" Parker asked while Jaeden kept shooting at the target. "In a bit." The girl answered.

"I'll be right back." Jaeden quickly said, before exiting the room, leaving his gun on the seat next to Kornelia. "Um...okay, I guess." The girl replied with a light chuckle while taking the gun into hand and standing on the spot Jaeden previously had. Parker was now shooting at the target again, Kornelia joining in, both hitting perfectly.

"Did you find anything about the new kids?" Parker asked, to start a conversation. "I haven't had the time, so...no," Kornelia replied, shooting the gun at the target, in between the last two words. "You know, you look very hot with a gun." The girl said with a smirk, looking at the boy, receiving a surprised look from Parker. "I forgot you say everything that pops into your mind, but thanks, you too." He replied, looking her up and down. "Don't give me that look." She said, knowing he was flirting with her. "You started it." He continued, with a light chuckle throwing his hands up, in surrender.

After a while, they all went to Kornelia's room. Parker hadn't been there in a while, last time he was there, they...uh- never mind.

Anyway, they were waiting for further instructions from their parents, so they just hung out for a bit. Naomi was looking through Kornelia's massive closet, Jaeden was sitting down on a chair near her desk and Parker was lying on her bed. "I swear, you have my cardigan, stop fucking lying to me," Naomi said, frustrated that she couldn't find her favorite cardigan. "I already told you, Madi has it." The girl answered, with a chuckle.

Kornelia lay down next to Parker, looking at him stare at the ceiling. "What are you thinking about?" She asked, curious. "It's nothing," Parker replied, still staring a the ceiling. "You can tell me anything and it won't be nothing to me." She continued looking at him. "It's just...it's fun when we do these types of things, but I hate it, when I do it for my dad." He said, now looking into her eyes. "I know you do, but we just have to get this over with and hopefully be off the hook...for now." She said, saying the last part with a light chuckle. "Mhm." He said with a chuckle, looking up at the ceiling once again. She loves his eyes when he looks at her, she can't help but melt inside. Parker slowly moved his hand, until it was touching Kornelia's.

She understands. Parker thought. After all, she is my soulmate.

Jaeden noticed the tension between the pair, so he threw himself on both of them. "Ow." They both shrieked. They started to play fight and throw pillows. Naomi just stood there and watched, until one of the pillows Parker threw, hit her in the face. "You bitch." Naomi said exclaimed, soon after, joining in.

"Jae, someone is calling you," Kornelia said, noticing the ringing phone. "Oh." He said while taking the phone and quickly going into the bathroom, to pick it up. "Who do you think it is?" Naomi asked, curious. "Business probably, you saw how quickly he went into the bathroom," Parker answered, receiving a nod from Kornelia.

"Sorry, I have to go," Jaeden said, picking up his stuff. "Why, what is it?" Kornelia asked the boy, noticing the rush he was suddenly in. "Work." He replied, going out the door, and closing it after him. "Told you," Parker said, looking at his phone.

The man sure is busy. Naomi thought.

"Well, this will be fun," Parker said, looking at the text Jonathan send their group chat. "What is it?" Kornelia asked, getting closer to him. "There's a party tonight, and guess who's gonna be there," Parker said, with a threatening look, receiving a confused look from both girls. "Hayes." He finished, with a smirk forming on his face. "This day only keeps getting better, huh," Kornelia said, with a smile.

Brooks Hayes, a kid from another school has tried to expose them and their work many times but failed miserably each time. They had just found out he was planning on doing it again and with more evidence this time. They had to get rid of him.

"So, what's the plan?"

"Please help me pick what to wear," Ava told Amelia, who was at Ava's house. "Okay, fine, let me just look through your closet," Amelia replied, walking towards the closet. "Do you know if they are going?" Ava asked. "Who's they?" The other girl asked. "You know...Kornelia, Parker, and all the others." She continued.

"For sure," Amelia said, still looking through Ava's clothes. "You should wear this, with those jeans," Amelia said, giving Ava the clothes. "Thank you." She replied, with a smile.

"How about Cameron? Is he going?" Amelia asked Ava. "I actually don't know, he's been very distant." She answered. "Well, he doesn't look like the type to socialize much," Amelia admitted.

"Right."

"Here it is," Jaeden said, taking a small bag out of his pocket. "Thanks." The blond boy in front of him said, trying to take the bag from Jaeden's hands. "Uh, uh, the money," Jaeden told him, putting the bag behind his back. "Right, here." The boy replied, but instead of taking out the money, he snatched the bag out of Jaeden's hands and started to run...

BANG

"Yeah, sorry, that's not how it works," Jaeden told himself, before going toward the now-dead body, to retrieve the small bag.

Jaeden pulled his phone out of his pocket only to see Kornelia calling him. "What?" He started, sounding annoyed by her timing. "Sorry, is this not a good time? I don't care." She said, sassily. "Look, tonight there's a party and Hayes is going, I need you here, right now." She continued. "Give me a while, I need to take care of something." He responded. "What? A dead body?" She said, jokingly. "Yeah." Jaeden continued. "Oh shit, um...okay, see you in a bit...I guess." She said, hesitantly, before hanging up.

Jaeden was lucky there was a river nearby, or he could've never gotten away with it.

He put some gloves, he had in his other pocket, and threw the body in the river, hoping no one would discover it anytime soon. He then burned the gloves, to leave no trace and walked to his car.

That wasn't very polite doing, what he just did, but it's all part of the job.
