It was only days until the dinner with the Italian Mafia and Kornelia called a meeting with the rest of the group, to figure out what they were going to do. "We all know how it will go, because we already reviewed the plan, right?" She started. "But we need the help from someone else." She continued, receiving weird looks from everyone. "Who are you thinking about?" Jaeden asked.

The group took the car and gave the driver the address. After fifteen minutes of driving they arrived at the tall black building, with tinted windows. They contemplated the building, before going in. "This place is massive." Madison said in shock, looking up. They went in the big entrance, that had a crystal chandelier and elegant sofas. They told the doorman who they were looking for. The man guided them to the elevator and he pulled out a silver key and put it in the sloth next to the number, 24. The elevator doors closed and it started going upwards.
10, 11, 12, 13. Kornelia thought, counting the floors.
The elevator had mirrors on the sides, the roof had a black and gold print and so did the floor.
21, 22, 23, 24.
The elevator doors opened, to reveal an opened apartment. Kornelia walked in confidence, while the others walked in hesitation, not knowing where to go. The apartment had big windows and a staircase leading to a second floor. It had a modern look with black and while furniture. Kornelia walked into a room on the left, empty. She walked into the room next to the previous one, empty. She then walked into a room to the right, while the others followed her. "There you are." She said, looking at the one and only, "Wilder Maverick." She added, watching how the brunette contemplated his reflection in the big mirror in his room.
Once a narcissist, always a narcissist.
"Long time, no see." He said with a smirk, now looking at the girl.
Wilder and Kornelia were like long lost siblings. They didn't grow up together, but their parents were friends and they hung out a lot. They had lost touch the past year, but that connection they had since they met, wasn't gone. The moment they met they realised, how similar they were.
"Did you think about what I told you?" Kornelia asked. "I did, but before I sat anything, why don't I pour all of you a drink?" He said, convincing then with his charm. They all sat around the kitchen counter, talking about what was going on in their lives and what happened with Kornelia's parents, until...
BANG
Is all that took to make them jump and cover themselves. "WILDER MAVERICK." A masculine voice said. hen they all looked, it was a guy in a ski mask, with four other people dressed the same. "You know why I'm here." The man said, coming closer, pointing his gun at Wilder. "I do, but you won't get it." He said, confidently. "Then I guess we'll do this the hard way." The man said, while the others approached the group of teens.
When they were close enough, Parker pulled out a gun he had hidden in his back pocket and shot one of the men. "Nice." Kornelia commented, with a smirk. Another one came towards him, making Kornelia take out a knife, from her shoe and threw it perfectly aimed at his chest. Wilder took a gun, hidden in one of the drawers in the kitchen counter, killing another guy. Jaeden knocked another man unconscious. "JACE, HERE." Madison said, before throwing Jonathan's gun to him, which he used to kill the last guy.
The five corpses were laying on the ground, the whole group standing, looking at each other, catching their breaths, except for Naomi, who was hidden behind the counter, just watching them the whole time. "I'll help you with the mission." Wilder said, breaking the silence, before going to the kitchen, to grab another drink. "What were they looking for?" Naomi asked, scared. "My drug stash, worth millions." The boy responded. "Oh and I'll call someone to take care of the bodies, so no need to worry about that." He continued.
