Parker knew he loved Kornelia and he wanted to be with her again, but he hated her for hurting him, even if she didn't mean too. He hated the she hurt him, because of how much he wanted it.
"The sky is falling, girl, let's try to catch it." Perfect sentence to describe their current situation. He feels like their possible relationship, is falling apart, because of how much they knew they hurt each other. He was trying to recover something, that wasn't even there in the first place. Parker didn't want to lose this opportunity, to make things right, but what if this time it ended worse and they broke up the whole group. He couldn't risk it.
He thought about her all the time. She successfully conquered his mind and hasn't left it for a long time. For him, life without her had no meaning and his heart ached when she left.
Parker could never stand seeing her with another guy, even thought they weren't dating, she was still his. She was messing so much with his emotions, without realising it. Every time he saw her with another guy, he thought about hurting the other guy, whoever he was.
He could easily kill her, get away with it and stop the suffering, but he couldn't bring himself to even slightly hurt her on purpose.
But he's so in love, he can't.
