- chapter six : news

park chaeyoung's pov

since my shift is starting in a few minutes, and good thing i wasn't late or whatever. i waited for sunmi unnie, my shift partner for today. our shift ends at 10 pm, so i we'll be the one who're going to close the cafe. 

this will be my daily shift, day offs are in sat and sun. i still waited for sunmi unnie, i can't still get over at the news for today. is it really chaeyoung (twice's) or no? girl it can't be.

we just like met yesterday and stuff and right after i woke up this is what i see i was expecting a long time friendship with her and lisa. 

it just makes me so sad and terrible, the crime location was literally that alley i went last time, like where i witnessed a crime. is it maybe she witnessed a crime or killing last night?

the glass door made a ching  sound meaning there is someone going inside the cafe, i was about to stand up and greet the person. 

"hello good-" i was stunned when i saw lisa and jungkook with many more people near the counter.

"o-oh good day coffee lovers what can i get for you today?"

i asked and still urged to smile though i know its not a good day for them. 

"hi rosé, can we have 4 iced coffee with vanilla, 2 caffé macchiatos and 1 vanilla frappe, also 10 red velvet cake." lisa spoke and the sad tone was evident in her voice.

that red velvet cake, our fave.

i gave her a reassuring smile and typed all their orders, she handed me her payment. "thank you ma'am, your order will be served in a few." she nodded and they immediately went to their seat.

good thing sunmi unnie was already wearing the café's apron and i gave her the orders and helped her prepare.

after 15 minutes, all of them was done and sunmi unnie insisted me to give this to them since she wanted to be the cashier for today which is totally fine. 

i get one tray where their drinks are and walked to the table which is just near he counter.

"didn't think this woul-" the cat eyed girl didn:t got the chance to finish her sentence when i served their orders.

"4 iced coffees, 2 caffé macchiatos and 1 vanilla frappe. the cakes will be served after this, thank you ma'am and sir."

 i said but when i was about to go when lisa held my wrist. "rosé-ah can you and your brother attend to the reporting later?" she asked me with sad eyes. 

of course this was expected, we were also with chaeyoung yesterday. "sure just send me the deets." i said and gave her a small smile.

wednesday 1:40 pmlisa's pov

"oh you know her lisa?" namjoon oppa asked after rosé gave us the rv cakes. "yes we do hyung." jungkook answered, psh this jerk. 

"oh since when?" jisoo unnie asked, "well the three of us was with her and her brother yesterday, y'know a lil hangout. that's why i asked her to attend later." i explained and they just nodded.

"what's her and her bro's name?"

yoongi oppa asked, "park rosé and park jimin." i said and jin oppa gasped. "oh! park jimin my sister's boss at the call center." he said, what a small world. 

"you forgot to say that rosé's name was chaeyoung too." jungkook said and i nodded eagerly. "oh yea-" i was cut of by hoseok oppa.

"oh she's chaeyoung too?"

he asked and we both nodded (jk&i) "hm maybe that's why they already are close." jennie unnie said pertaining to rosé and chaeyoung." i just replied with a hum and we ate silently.

"by the way are there suspects yet?" taehyung asked and jungkook spoke while munching the food.

"yeah, maybe the alcoholic jerks near gwangju and the gang."

what gang? "what gang jeykey?" namjoon oppa askes while we turned our heads to him. "earlier this morning, uncle asked me to come with him to the police station and of course i agreed.

they told us that vigorous killing and murdering is pretty increasing these days in our city

so maybe they're also the one who killed chaeyoung." jungkook bitterly sipped his frappe and we just nodded sadly. who can it be..
