-  chapter nine : criminal

physics class, building a
same day, 8:30 pm
rosé's pov

"so let's be seatmates since jihyo isn't here."

sana started the conversation before pulling me to the farthest table near the window, good thing she wanted to sit at the back part of the room. i don't want any attention or something to be clear.

"so is jihyo your only friend here?" i asked while putting my book at our desk, well each table has two seats meaning we have a shared rectangle-wood table.

"well no, i am also friends with tzuyu that is currently at english class today, and momo also a made from japan that is probably in her dance classes."

she enthusiastically said while i just nodded, an idea sunk in my brain solving my problems in sitting lonely at lunch.

"hm sana-san, why don't i sit with you and your friends this lunch? having a cute chipmunk in your table won't hurt right?" i said while staring at her and she just chuckled.

"of course rosé-ah! they would love to see you!"

i smiled at her statement, as our teacher went inside the classroom. i didn't bother to roam my eyes all over the room, i could care less.

"their kimbap is so yummy, you must taste it roje-ssi."

sana pulled me in one of the food counters as my eyes circled around the yummy and delicious looking foods. "one cheesy kimbap, 2 rose ramyeon and 2 iced teas." sana ordered as she handed the cashier a money

"my treat, because next time i may need your help." sana informed as i just nodded. why is this girl so nice, imagine being with someone like her.

the girl gave us the foods as i help her carry the foods to a table near the trash cans, "oh there they are!" she pointed at the table and there are two girls probably waiting for us.

we put the trays down at the table as we sat together. "so momo, tzuyu this is park chaeyoung or rosé she is the scholar student from the s.u." sana introduced me as i smiled at the two girls.

"annyeong rosé-ssi! welcome to msu."

the short hair girl which i guess is momo, tzuyu just smiled at me revealing her charismatic dimples. i waved at them, "so let's dig in guys, this kimbap looks so delish." i said and they just giggled while holding their chopsticks.

after 20 minutes, lunch is still not over it's like 30 more minutes before we go back to our respective classes. "oh, girls can i excuse myself at the moment, i need to go to the restroom." i excused myself as they just noddes in response.

since sana toured me a lil bit around here at least at this floor, i may know where the nearest bathroom is. i walked through the hallways and found the restroom sign for girls. i immediately went inside the bathroom and picked a cubicle.

as i was peacefully peeing, i heard the door swung open and close. i just ignored it and flushed the toilet after cleaning up.

i stood up and flattened my plaid skirt, i opened the door and walked through the sink, and unexpectedly lisa was there, her sleeves were rolled up through her arms below her elbow.

it was a little bit awkward since we haven't heard from each other since the accusation moment that jennie pulled last week. i just washed my hands and both of us didn't bother to greet each other.

i looked at the mirror to fix my ponytail and combed it a bit by my fingers and tied it again. by the time i was done lisa spoke, "uhm, i wanted to apologize on behalf of jennie unnie's words from last time, i tried to text you but i was ashamed." she confessed and her head was hung low.

i grinned at her statement as i held her hands softly, "god lisa? it is not your fault anyways, but thank you because you tried to message me after that happened." i said while slightly chuckling. i heard her sigh in relief as she faced me and smiled at me, sweetly.

"so rosé, friends?" she said while wiggling her eyebrows. i smiled as i clung my arms into hers,   
"of course lili, friends." i said and we left the bathroom while laughing together. we walked through the hallways to go back to the cafeteria.

"what the hell lisa??"

we turned our heads to the person who spoke behind us. "jennie unnie?" lisa called her as we stare at jennie unnie, confused. "what are you doing with that criminal?" she said while walking near us, she hasn't still got over it?

i clicked my tongue and loosened my grip on lisa's arms, "whatever, i will just go back at the cafeteria i don't wanna make a fuss at my first day." i said as i stared at lisa and walked away.

"what was that jennie unnie? accusing her last week, but calling her something that isn't true is too much!"

lisa said and it was evident in her eyes that she was really mad. jennie can't help but look away from the younger one's eyes. "you don't understand what i am feeling lalisa." jennie said sternly while looking at lisa.

"what do you wat me to understand? that you're bitching at rosé because we lost a friend. that doesn't even help." lisa said while holding her temples, "then go! go with that new friend of yours." jennie said while pointing at the way where rosé walked earlier.

"for fuck's sake! don't make me want to leave ace because of that pathetic attitude of yours. i am hurt! i am also hurt jennie unnie, i was the closest to chaeyoung (son) and it is really hard to not think of her. so don't be so freaking selfish."

lisa let it all out at jennie's face, while jennie was about to talk back when someone spoke from the left side. "ya, miss kim and miss manoban. the lunch is over go to your own classes!" a teacher warned from the hallway not far from us.

we just bowed as they both go in different ways.

"these kids, fighting in the middle of the hallway cursing and shouting." the teacher replied to herself.
