"The demigods? They are on the mountain, training for the war." Demeter told the demigod, confused to whom he was referring to. The answer to his question made him realize than none had sired a god, till now. Percy's mouth made the form of an 'O' and shook his head, repeating the word stupid in his mind for reviling some of the future to the gods. "Yes, I meant the demigods." he answered not to fast and not too slow as to not arise suspicion. "I mean if we are going to fight this war together, I should know the demigods and what are their strengths and weaknesses, so we'll know where to put them in the battlefield." he continued. This made some of the gods raise their brow in question. "Did you think that we would a mere demigod make our choices." Hera sneered, spitting out the word demigod. I guess she had always hated us demigods and it's not because of Zeus Percy thought, wondering what had caused her to hate demigods at such a level.
Hestia calmed her sister down and saw Percy looking at her not in lust or wanting like every male and sometimes female demigods do, but in confusion and looked like he wanted an answer to a question he didn't want to voice. Hestia knew that this demigod had a pure heart and that his fatal flaw was loyalty, something that none of Poseidon's kids had and she was intrigued by what he had to offer to help them. "Lady Hera, Kronos now has his memories of his future self since he wanted to perish me so he knows every single move that you will make even if you haven't talked or even thought about it, but he will know. I can help with battle strategies and help the demigods excel their swordsmanship." Percy said in an almost pleading manner and giving Hera large, cute puppy dog eyes that even Hades couldn't help but want to give this kid anything and Hera was no different. "Fine." She huffed and walked back to the cave. "Good, now you could stop holding back your aura, I can handle it." Percy said, since he had been in the throne room with every god their and he didn't faint or explode.
Poseidon, Zeus, and Hades looked at him with the stare that was getting on his nerves. "This is us at our full aura." Hades answered. Percy looked at the brothers and sisters and they nodded. Percy stared at them in disbelief before remembering that the six gods had their powers strengthened when Kronos was chopped into pieces, mostly the three brother's powers increased drastically while the others just turned up a notch or two. "Never mind." Percy said, sighing. "Let us go and introduce Percy to his cousins and siblings." Zeus said in a kind voice which Percy wasn't sure if he could get used to.
Making it at the entrance of the cave, Percy thought he was back on Olympus. It was very extended, well designed and furnished. There were multiple room, some were weaponry, others were huge training rooms and etcetera. "Demigods!" Poseidon shouted gathering the attention of every single demigod as they formed a semi-circle around the gods, Hera behind them, still thinking that he was a threat or was just going to stab someone in the back. Till now nothing of that had happened, but she still kept a very close eye on him.
The demigods bowed in unison, creeping Percy a little bit but he kept an excellent poker face on. "This is your new cousin or sibling, Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon." When that was said, two people from the back of the front stepped forward, arrogance and smugness in their strides. " I'm Belus and that's Agenor." the one in front said, pointing backwards directing it to the person behind him. "We're your brothers, which means we have to teach you loser to fight with a real sword and daggers." Belus said slowly, as if he was talking to an infant, while Agenor laughed. The other demigods rolled their eyes at their antics, since they bothered every single one of them when they were new and for some, he still does. "You said that I need practice, but from the looks of it, it's I that should give you a lesson or two." Percy sassed back, smiling. He always hated when people or demigods thought that they were better than each other and he especially hated bullies, having a fair share of them in his childhood before the whole demigod business.
The demigods and even the gods knew that Percy had just signed his death warrant. The two could be arrogant and smug, but they sure knew that they knew how to fight very well, none of the demigods could beat them in training or duels and when they would fight together on the battlefield, they were like a well-oiled machine of two, destroying everything in their way.
Percy noticed the uneasy looks, so he sent a smile that said, 'I'll be alright, it's them you should be worried about.' Belus and Agenor picked up the smiles meaning and huffed "We'll see who comes out of this match with more than one broken bone." Belus said in a low and menacing tone, well tried to. Percy thought that he sounded like a cat trying to sing, which he mentally laughed at, but kept his face neutral.
Hera scoffed under her breath. Poseidon's spawns are always so arrogant and too proud to fight well, she thought. She couldn't be more wrong. The new demigod sidestepped every attack that was sent his way or dodged, not making a move to attack. His expression showed boredom, but if you could look close enough, you could see him wince at every mistake that Belus made, which Hera picked up. She watched as Percy pulled the same pen out of his pocket that he had pointed at the gods outside. She was interested as to what the pen would do to an opponent. Her curiosity was answered when Percy flicked its cap off and it turned into a large celestial bronze sword, pulsing with power. Belus took a step back in shock and fright. Percy used this moment of distraction to knock him out.
He turned to the demigods and gods and said, "And that is how you defeat someone only using a pen." Percy laughing at his own joke with the others were still shocked at how easy their best demigod fighter was taken down.
