Meeting the Moon at war

Artemis knew that something must've been seriously wrong with the hunters that have come back from the hunt. It simply isn't possible that a disgusting male was walking amongst some of the most man-hating hunters that she had and not have a single scratch on him. Her mind only assumed that this boy had done something to the hunters, and that's what she believed. Her vision went red with rage and she pounced over the log she was sitting on and with a war cry she ran straight towards the intruder, only picturing of all the tortures that she could put the insufferable male through.

The hunters, seeing Artemis's rage towards the boy, stepped aside knowing what was about to come and that the male had absolutely no way of escaping now. They joined their sisters, all sat on the logs around the flickering fire looking forward to seeing the boy being beaten to a pulp, though something completely different happened, something that, for the second, or first, time that day shocked them. 

Artemis charged with all her might, not even trying to cover up her anger seeing that her hunters had gone a far enough distance for her to release all her anger towards the pig that was standing in front of her. As soon as she swung her daggers she smiled, knowing that that would be a fatal blow to the neck, though would be a very slow and agony-full death. What she didn't expect was for her to collide with...NOTHING??????? Due to her surprise and since that she was running at her top speed, she lost her balance, only to regain it a few seconds late. Her silver eyes scanning the clearing until she found the boy. He was opposite to her, as if he jumped over her, but that was impossible, especially when she was moving at that speed, no one could keep up with her, except for Hermes, but other than that NO ONE!! 

She reasoned with herself that it was because she was too overwhelmed with rage that she was reckless so, taking a few deep breaths, she calmed down and assessed the opponent. He seems to look bone dead tired, proof was the way he was holding himself, but he also showed signs of experience and strength, meaning that she couldn't underestimate him, even though he seemed like his head was else were instead of the fight, which made Lady Artemis even angrier. She charged again, this time more calculated and precise with the strike, but the male just side-stepped at the very last second, but this time Artemis spun around and threw a dagger straight towards his spinal cord, which would've made him paralyzed for life if he hadn't spun around and caught it with inhuman speed that made the goddess blink a few times before her expression again shifted into one of pure and utter rage. 

"WHO ARE YOU??'' she shouted pointing one of her daggers towards the intruder, staring at him with her best wolf glare, which didn't faze him at all. "Well I was going to introduce myself as soon as I got here but someone ( looking pointedly at Lady Artemis ) interrupted me and I didn't have time to, so in truth it isn't actually my fault, buttttt yours'' he explained, ending with his trademark trouble maker smirk whilst looking at the goddess of the hunt dead in the eyes. 

This wasn't the smartest thing to say at the moment and Percy realized that after he saw the look of a murderer plastered on Lady Artemis's face. Why O why did I have to say such a stupid thing he thought, though he still thinks that it was her fault that he hadn't had the time to introduce himself. Lady Artemis was having none of his sassyness so she charged, again, and this time kept on swinging and swinging until she looked like an insane person that had just escaped prison. Percy knew that he could keep up this rhythm all night, or all day, but he really wanted to just lay down and sleep, so he cut to the chase and when he saw Lady Artemis take a small break from all the pointless cuts and slashes, he decided to speak, and without any sassyness in his voice, or disrespect, "Lady Artemis, look we can either keep going on like this all night but could we just cut to chase and let me explain why I'm here?'' 

Artemis wanted so badly to just go in for the kill, but seeing that that wasn't doing her any favours she gave a slight nod, still keeping track of any movements that he might do. "Good finally, now first off, is there a war happening right now?'' he asked. Artemis just looked at the boy blankly, did he seriously not know about the war that's been going on for more than a year?? she asked herself in disbelief, though males are stupid like that so that does make sense that he'd ask such a stupid, insufferable question. "Yes, boy, there is a war that's been going on for over a year. How stupid could you be for not seeing the destruction that the German's had inflicted in many lands?? Or how Hades and his kids are fighting with Poseidon and Zeus and their kids?????''

Percy didn't feel that offended when she called him stupid or insufferable, but he kept pondering on what happened in 1940 and the German's were apparently involved in this big war, and so were the Big Three..... That's when it clicked into place, 1940 and the German's were Hades kids and the British and the French were Poseidon's and Zeus's kids, that could only mean one thing and one thing only, it was the start of WW2. "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!''
