Louis spat out some leaves from his mouth, and Harry had to put a hand over his mouth so the sound of his giggle wouldn't reveal their existence. They were sitting in the middle of some bushes.
"Where are we?" Louis whispered.

Harry pushed some branches to the side.
"The X-factor house." Louis stated, and Harry smiled at him.

Young Harry came running out of the house with a happy squeal while young Louis was chasing after him. They watched silently with fondness, feeling like creeps for hiding in the bushes to watch a private moment between the two of them, even if it was their moment. This whole time-traveling thing had quickly become normal.

Young Louis caught up with young Harry just as they reached the bushes they were hiding in. They fell to the ground, and young Louis started to tickle young Harry.
"Where did you hide it?"

"I won't tell you. Nooo! Stop, Lou!" Young Harry giggled while he tried to get away.

Young Louis was half on top of him to keep him in place while he continued to tickle him.
"Tell me where me lucky boxers are!"

Harry and Louis tried their best not to laugh at the scene before them. They were so young and silly. Young Harry laughed hysterically.
"Please, Lou! Stop tickling me. Okay, I give up."

Young Louis stopped but didn't move away.
"Harold! Where are they?"

Young Harry tried to catch his breath. He was smiling.
"In my suitcase. You'll get them back. There's no such thing as lucky boxers."

"I wore them at me audition, and I met you. They're lucky boxers." Young Louis stated and brushed away some of young Harry's curls that were hiding his eyes.

They watched as their smiles died and how they both inhaled shakily. It was such a pure moment to witness. Young Louis leaned down. He seemed scared. He brushed his lips against young Harry's before he pulled back to look at him again with questions in his eyes. Young Harry raised his head and captured young Louis' lips. They shared their first kiss. It was soft and beautiful. When they had to come up for air, young Louis ruffled young Harry's curls and jumped up to his feet.
"I'm gonna hide all your favourite stuff!" He yelled and ran back to the house.

Young Harry was right behind him.
"You wouldn't dare!"

Louis sat back and looked at Harry.
"Our first kiss?"

"Yeah. I don't think I've ever been happier than I was at that moment. Up until you kissed me, I was unsure if you really liked me like that or if it was just me." Harry smiled.

"It was pretty obvious that I liked you." Louis chuckled.

"I was sixteen, Louis. You were the first boy I fell in love with. The only boy. I might have been more comfortable regarding my sexuality than you were at that time, but I certainly wasn't confident. I was so shy and insecure when it came to you because I was afraid to get my hopes up, and then you kissed me." Harry smiled.

"Technically, you kissed me." Louis smirked.

"But you initiated it." Harry retorted.

"I wanted to kiss you for weeks." Louis smirked.

"Why didn't you?" Harry asked.

"I was scared. You weren't the only one who was shy and insecure, Harry." Louis said and smiled a little.

"Please, you think that it was obvious that you liked me? Have you watched old clips of us? I look like a lovesick fool, fonding over you every second of the day." Harry huffed.

He used to watch that all the time because it warmed his heart. Not anymore. Now it just hurt.
"Yeah, well..."

"Well, this is one of my happiest moments because we finally kissed, and everything was new and exciting, and I was so in love with you." Harry admitted.

Was. Louis flinched. His chest felt small. It hurt.
"Me too. I was so nervous about how you would react that I couldn't just go for it, but then you kissed me. When we ran back to the house, it felt like I was flying. Cheesy, I know." He chuckled embarrassedly.

"It's not cheesy, Lou. I felt the same way." Harry said softly.

Past tense. Niall's plan wouldn't work because Harry didn't love him anymore.
"Hasn't it been half an hour yet? I just want to get this done with."

He glanced at Harry, who looked heartbroken. He wanted to take it back.
"Harry..."

"No, you're right. Let's finish this so you can get your fucking divorce and move on with your life." Harry said angrily.

"That's not what I meant, Harry. Don't you think that I'm fucking heartbroken about it?" Louis argued upset.

"You asked for it!" Harry almost shouted.

"Hello? Who's there?" Liam's voice sounded.

They stared at each other in panic. They had totally forgotten that they were time-traveling and couldn't be seen, too caught up in their argument. They heard footsteps coming closer and tried to think about what they would do if Liam found them. Luckily their thirty minutes were up and the next time they blinked they were inside, hiding behind a couch.
