The moment that they both had chosen was no surprise. Their wedding day. Niall had placed them up on a balcony where they could witness the whole thing without being seen. They both leaned over the railing. All of their friends and families were there. Louis gasped and grabbed Harry's arm when he spotted his deceased mother. Harry put his arm around him.
"She was so happy on this day. I miss her." He said quietly.Louis turned his head to look at him briefly. His eyes were filled with tears. He didn't say anything, but he didn't have to. Harry knew how devastated he had been when Jay passed away. Going back in time allowed him to see her live again and Harry was happy for him even if it made him sad that she was no longer with them. But on this day, their wedding day, their mothers sat next to each other, happily smiling that their sons were getting married.
"I failed her." Louis mumbled."You didn't. She would have understood and supported you." Harry replied.
Louis just shrugged his shoulders and wiped away a tear that broke free. They watched as their younger selves walked down the aisle, all happy and smiling.
"This was such a great day." Louis commented."One of our happiest." Harry replied.
The priest started talking.
"Friends, we have joined here today to share with Harry and Louis an important moment in their lives. During their time together, they have seen their love and understanding of each other grow and blossom, and now they have decided to live out the rest of their lives as one."They both twisted uncomfortably. Harry removed his arm around Louis. It was time for their vows. Louis began.
"I Louis William Tomlinson, take you Harry Edward Styles to be my husband, my partner in life, and my one true love. I will cherish our union and love you more each day than I did the day before. I will trust you and respect you, laugh with you and cry with you, loving you faithfully through good times and bad, regardless of the obstacles we may face together. I give you my hand, my heart, and my love, from this day forward for as long as we both shall live."Harry repeated the same thing. They had written it together.

He glanced at Louis just to find him doing the same thing.
They exchanged rings and kissed. Louis gave them one last look, took in his mum's appearance one last time before he turned around and let out a deep sigh.
"We really fucked up. Got sloppy. Took each other for granted. I'm sorry Harry.""I'm sorry too. I've been selfish. I focused on my career and left you behind." Harry replied.
"I'm proud of everything you have accomplished. I hope you know that. You've done amazing for yourself." Louis said.
"Still, you should have been my number one priority. You should have told me to slow down. I was so caught up in making an album, touring, making a movie." Harry said, looking guilty.
"I'm never gonna be the one who stands in the way of you achieving your dreams." Louis replied softly.
"I never meant to make you feel like you weren't one of my dreams. I messed up and I'm so sorry Lou. It will be my biggest failure in life. My biggest regret." Harry replied, lower lip trembling.
They heard cheering and returned to watch the rest of the wedding. Everyone was hugging them wishing them good luck in marriage. Niall was crying like a baby. Liam was there and Zayn too. All their family members and friends. Everyone was happy. Louis's eyes teared up again as he watched his mum hug him and whisper something in his ear.
"She told me that she was proud of me for making the right choice in life." He said, sounding sad and bitter.Harry didn't know how to respond to that.
"We were so young. I had just turned nineteen.""So? When you know you know." Louis snorted.
"Yeah."
They watched how they all walked out of the church to get to the wedding party that Niall had set up for them. It had been an absolutely amazing night. Now it just felt bittersweet.
"Four memories left." Louis said. They didn't have to discuss why they both had chosen this particular moment in time to go back to. They sat down waiting for the thirty minutes to be over with.
"You know, the proposal was spectacular." Harry said and smiled at the memory."I guess this is the time to confess that Niall planned most of it." Louis smirked.
Harry let out a surprised laugh.
"I shouldn't really be surprised by that. He has always been the third party, the one cheering for us the most. He's so precious.""He's a little too committed, I mean, he found someone who figured out how to time travel and then use it for personal reasons, sending us on this walk memory lane. He's crazy and I love him." Louis smiled.
"Yeah." Harry agreed.
Just like that, their thirty minutes were up.
