P.s think of the blank strands in the picture as her white hair.Quick note: As you can see I have edited the last few chapters to a great extent. I'm sorry but I really wanted to make a few changes regarding the oc!
Tokoyami pov
As I made my way back to class 1-A on the first day after internships, I thought back on what Kazuya senpai had advised me to do.
'You had better take every single word he says into account. And I mean every word.'
I instantly understood that she was trying to imply something. She had wanted me to figure that out on my own, which I understood as well. I couldn't have everything fed to me like milk and butter. But she had given me one specific instruction that seemed to stand out,
'Once you get your hero license, come back here for your work study.I am positive that senpai would recruit you again. But until then, you must find a way to keep up with him.'
Keep up with Hawks? That task in itself seemed impossible. But then again, the fact she had told me that implied that there would be a way. I just had to find it out.
When I entered my classroom, I noticed everyone was talking about the internships. It was so noisy.
As I sat down at my desk, I remembered what Kazuya senpai had as. I turned to Todoroki who was
being bombarded by questions along with Midoriya and Iida."Todoroki, if you must know, your sister asked me to tell you that she's glad that you're okay."
Todoroki gave a seldom small smile and said,
"I'm glad to hear that."
I was later asked about my internship. I didn't really know how to respond to that question and simply said it went well.
However, I had decided to take what Kazuya senpai had said to heart. The next time I go back to Hawks agency, I'll be different.
Kazuya pov
Three days after Tokoyami's internship had gotten over, I found out that at Endeavour's request, the commission had made arrangements for me to stay at Hawks senpai's agency. Away from home. When I questioned Endeavour about this he simply snapped,
"If you were to stay in this house, you'd draw a lot of unnecessary attention! The commission has trained you to take up jobs that can only be done by people with quirk's like yours. If you want me to put it terms you'd understand, you staying here would bring danger to the rest of your siblings! I don't want the society to know that the assassin hero is actually my daughter! I only plan to look after my master piece! Not kids with quirks like yours that are used to kill!"
I froze. For the first time in my life after Touya-nii's death, I didn't argue with my dad. The reason not being because I thought he was right, but because of what he had said,
Quirks like yours?" What did he mean by that? Was he implying that my quirk was only useful for killing people? That I was just another failure who happened to have the unique blood of a murderer?
I felt my tear-ducts fill up, but I forcefully held back the urge to cry. I was certainly not going to weep like a baby in front of the number two hero.
Those three words. They were all I needed to hear to lose any will to argue.
I made a decision right then and there. If my deadbeat of a dad ever wanted to have a conversation with me by any chance, I'd keep my mouth shut, something that I was very good at, taking into account my training at the hero safety commission. I didn't care whether or not his peers grew suspicious of my silent treatment. At that moment, dad had lost the right to hear my voice. If I were to talk by any chance, it'd only be for circumstances where I didn't have a choice.
