JULIAN's POV

I held her arm hard as I knew Keith and Raven were on their way. She pushed her. She used vampire strength on a human. She is staring at me with death in her eyes. I heard Gwen's basically yelling out my likes and dislikes so I had to come back with the drinks I could. At first I assumed she must be arguing with Ashley or even maybe Angela. But the closer I got the more I noticed the scent. It wasn't human. That's when I heard Savannah's voice. Then Gwen's voice. But the moment I stood to speak to tell Savannah to leave. Deep down. Way back. I knew Savannah knows the rules when it comes to humans.

But I felt shocked. She ignored those sacred rules. She had used her inhuman strength to push Gwen off this balcony. I even dropped the cups. I knew Gwen wasn't going to like it but either way I couldn't find her favorite. Nor water. Humans drink so much. But here I am almost about to break this wenches arm. Gwen's blood is driving my vampire side crazy. She escapes my grasp angrily. I left a bruise there.

"Fuck you and fuck that human commoner... I warned you... I fucking warned you!" She snaps at me

I slapped her hard across the face "I should kill you now and here for what you have fucking done! Mates... Soul Mates... Forever Partner... The Beloved... They are sacred in all fucking CLAN'S!"

"She is a commoner! A poor person! She would never give you anything not even a strong lineage!" She snaps back at me

Raven was the one who hit her "I cannot fucking believe this!"

"The police is on the way!" Esmeralda says

"They won't do anything... My daddy is rich" she chuckles out

"The clan was notified of the broken rule..." Lev surprised us

"WHAT? YOU AGAIN!" Savannah snaps angrily

"I should have gotten here sooner..." Lev says sadly

Keith had grabbed her as a few students did the same. Lev helped. Just to manage the strength she wanted to use. Lev didn't look my way as he looks saddened. Raven is staring down tears streaming down her face. She turns to me and so I nod. We both run to the unmoving body of the woman I love. Her eyes. The way they shone when she saw me. But now they are closed as she is unconscious. I started to cry the moment I reached her. Graduates were around the adults as they tried controlling the situation. Gwen's mom is crying like crazy.

Jacob and Alex had held me back as I tried to get closer. Esmeralda held Raven tightly. I looked at my friend's as they had used their strength on me. Gwen needs me right now. I looked at all the blood that had come out of her. My blood plummets. I can still hear her faint heart beat. She is still alive. I can save her. The tears that were just sliding down my face. Is now cascading like water falls. Esmeralda was holding back the urges to cry out like Raven is. But she is holding Raven against her as she cries.

I struggle a little but I let my head fall in disappointment. I had failed to protect her. I left for just a few moments to get her what she likes. I want to show her that I now her likes and dislikes. I wanted to even take some chocolate cake to her. But I noticed some sweets she liked also. I shouldn't have distracted myself with making her smile. I should have stayed by her side.

~NEXT DAY~

I sat next to the hospital bed. Doctors said she had opened her skull a bit. So she has a concussion thanks to it. But nothing life threatening. They said that if it wasn't because she had fallen on her side a little. She would have died or had gotten in a coma. The injuries would have been worse. They did notify me about her shoulder dislocating but they got it in place. They warned of her using it until it heals.
