I stared at the big check that was sent in the mailbox. I felt completely confused. Why was I left this check? I said I didn't want it. I groaned out and I just waited for Julian to appear again as he was really pissed of at first. He was mad I didn't tell him I was meeting with the man. But I had to see for myself who he was. But he is such a disgusting human being. All he thinks is about money. I felt anger rise up in me and I ripped the check into a thousand pieces. I am completely annoyed. Do rich people really act this way? Julian and his father don't act like this. But is it something uncommon for rich people to be nice? It is so weird. 

I groaned out and just stood up from my bed and walked towards the kitchen. I needed something to drink and I am in no mood for some rich man to try and bribe me for what his daughter did. No thank you. I found mother there looking at something and so I walked towards her. 

"Is everything ok?" I asked mom worriedly 

She hid the paperwork and says "Yeah... Just checking my new work schedule.." 

"Is it bad?" I asked worriedly 

"Oh no... I just some hours reduced... I get to have more time with you" she tells me with a smile 

It's been a while since we went out so I say with a big smile "I'LL GET READY?" 

Mom laughs at me and I ran up the stairs excited. A day out with mom. But we don't drive. Julian can drive us. But Julian said he would be busy dealing with something. I pouted a bit and I kept thinking. Raven hasn't texted me. I think she is with her family. Esmeralda went on a trip with her sister. Keith is with his grandfather on business. Alex doesn't talk to me much. Jacob either. I can send Julian a message to see if he can send us a driver maybe? No I can't do that. I grabbed my phone and checked my bank account. I have full access to it now that I am 18 years old and graduated. I have been unable to work but mom kept placing money in it. 

But I am in shock. There is only 30 dollars in it. I tilt my head confused so I looked at the bank statements. I don't recognize this locations. I want to search them up but these are mom's money so I can't complain if she spoiled herself. I went and added my phone number to the contact information area. It only had mom's number at first but now I added mine and my email to it. With thirty dollars I think I can get a Lyft for a one way trip and just have fun in the process. What is Julian doing right now? Is his business going well? Is he ok? I hope things are going well. 

My phone starts ringing like crazy scaring the hell out of me. Snapping me out of my thoughts and I looked at the caller ID and it was Julian. 'Speak of the devil...' I smiled gently and answered the call. 

"Hello..." I start of 

"What are you doing?" Julian asked and I could hear the smile on his face for some reason 

I smiled and I say "I am going to order a Lyft to take mom out to hang out at the mall"

"Just hang out? I would expect a shopping spree" he tells me jokingly 

"Ja. Ja. Ja. If I had money I would but I haven't found a job yet remember" I tell him with a mock laugh 

"Gwen... Your going to be my wife... You don't need a job... All I want you to worry about for now is your mom and what you want to study" he tells me he was serious 

I was in shock and I say "But... We aren't married until two months..." 

"I promised I was going to take care of you... Spoil you... I will keep that promise..." he tells me seriously this time 

It made me feel special for some reason but I say firm "Well... I am going to get that Lyft anyways... You are busy so you can't stop me from wasting the little I have"

"I already did..." those words made me feel confused 

"What?" I asked in confusion 

"Look outside..." those words made my blood run cold for a moment

I stood from where I sat and I walked to the window. I saw him leaning against his care and he waves at me with his phone in hands. A giant smile on his face. This man is going to drive me crazy. I flicked him and he flicks me back. I hear his laughter double as he is a loud person. I hung up on him and I just got dressed. I had already taken a shower earlier so all I need is to change into something comfortable. I felt the excitement rise inside of me. He wants to come spoil me. I hope he is ready for some little revenge for what happened last time. I placed on the black floral dress I had gotten last year. I had gotten two sizes larger but it is very big on me. Did I lose weight? 

I through the dress to the bed in frustration. I grabbed one of the tight black dress I bought a few months back and it was a little lose from waist down but I didn't care. I grabbed my flats and my purse. I made sure my phone and wallet is inside the purse. I opened the door and walked towards mom. She was sitting in the table already dressed. Though she changed just her shirt and she tied her hair into a pony tail. I smiled at mom as she saw me and she smiled in return. I have noticed mom's skin is a bit paler. 

There is something happening and she is not telling me about it. She will tell me when she is ready.

"Ready?" I asked her with a gentle smile 

"Yeah... We are going walking?" she asked in return as she stood up 

"Well no... Someone decided to give us a ride" I tell her as we walked towards the door 

Mom looks confused as I opened the door to be met with a smiling Julian. Mom laughs gently and he leads us to his car. I felt really excited to hang out with mom and Julian. Even though he would be like a driver or bodyguard as after the whole fiasco with Savannah he has been none stop following. They haven't caught her yet. Her father even spoke in national television for her daughter to come back and to do what is right. At first I didn't believe it but why would he lie in national television. So many contracts and bad reputation he would get as he is very famous and rich. 

I sighed out and mom sat behind Julian's seat and I sat in the passenger side. I smiled at mom as she looks very excited. A day out. This is going to be fun. Julian had gotten in the drivers side and he looks at us both a giant smile on his face and I just felt so happy to be in love with this man. Julian started to drive towards the mall first and I just felt so happy. I had music on this time and mom was smiling at my foolishness as I felt completely excited for this. I suddenly felt that dark feeling again and I opened my eyes. I looked forward and saw that woman. She looks very much pissed of at me. Or is she staring at someone else. 

But I can feel the hatred and feel her eyes on me. I stared at her back as she just kept her eyes on me. I felt confused. I felt a hand on my own and I looked at Julian who looks at me worried. I looked back to the woman and she was gone. The place where she stood she was gone. I looked back at Julian who has a worried expression in his face. 

"Are you ok?" he asked gently 

"Yes I am ok I thought I saw something" I tell him as I wrap my hand in his 

He smiled gently and he is the best person to drive. He removes his hand from my own as he needed to change shifts. He places my hand on top of the knob of the stick shift and then placed his own on top of mine. It made me smile and it was such an adorable movement. I had to lean closer for if he changes shifts again I don't get to stretch my whole arm out. I looked forward enjoying the ride to the mall. It was so good. We will have so much fun. I smiled widely as I couldn't wait for the mall for the first time in my life. 

I want to have fun at the mall.
