Everything was dark.
When he opened his eyes he still couldn't see.

Tsk, is it supposed to take that long? He was getting exceedingly impatient and ill tempered, if he wasn't already.

"Shizun." The voice seemed almost familiar, albeit deeper in some way. He couldn't quite put his finger on it.

"Fuck you." He heard his own voice and was finally able to see. The congested blood that built up gave way to the pressure and he ended up spitting it out, how weak. Was this body that incompetent and weak? Disgusting. He turned his nose up in repulsion, though... his body didn't seem to reciprocate the action.

[Penalty scenario loaded 100%! Good luck Host!]

No shit. Clearly it had loaded, he scoffed internally.

"Excuse this disciple for intruding." The smirk was apparent on his face, unwilling to leave yet somehow getting deeper the more he spoke.

He felt his own body begin to laugh, unable to stop. "AHAHAHA! Are you still insisting on calling me Shizun after all you've done! AHAHAHAHA! ARE YOU THAT INCONSOLABLE LITTLE BEAST!? YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A DEMON! YOU MAY HAVE ME BUT MY SECT STILL STANDS!" he watched as the man in front of him finally wiped the unrelenting smirk off his face in place of a void. An absolutely empty expression that was impossible to read.

"You think you could get satisfaction out of torturing me? Your efforts up until now have been fruitless you Demon! You're exactly as I had said! A sinful demon who deserved to die in purgatory! You're becoming more and more like me Binghe. HAHAHA! JUST KILL ME ALREADY! I KNOW YOU WANT TO!" he manically laughed again then his expression became dead serious. Staring into the soul of the now known demon before him.

'If that's Binghe then...' KaiHua wanted to cover his mouth, feeling like the realisation brought bile to his throat. But it was just the demonic parasites in his stomach, making it twist and contract until acid could be felt in his throat.

'Binghe's Shizun is...'

The demon set one hand on his shoulder and grabbed his wrist firmly enough to snap the bones that lie beneath the skin.

"Shizun never granted any of my wishes. Not when I wanted to have a bed of my own or when I wanted to live. Why did you push me into that abyss? Why? Did you feel anything at all? Regret? Remorse? GUILT EVEN? NO! SO WHY SHOULD I RESPECT YOUR WISH TO DIE WHEN YOU COULDN'T EVEN LET A CHILD LIVE!" the grip became tighter after each word, he could feel the demonic Qi radiating off him in waves, coaxing his own mind into a state of turmoil.

"You want my tears and screams? I'll never give you the satisfaction." He spat, glaring at his once disciple, the little amount of struggle he had put in rattling some of his bindings. The chains felt all the more heavy.

"Not once did I regret pushing you into the abyss. The only thing I regret now is letting you live." His head felt cloudy at that, as if there was something else there. Screaming for honesty, though, KaiHua knew none of it.

Binghe clenched his teeth, his hands trembling for a split second. He began to pull.

'Shen QingQiu.'

Excruciating pain exploded and tore at the muscles connecting his shoulder and his arm. It took all of his energy to not make a sound, he would never give him the satisfaction.

Sweat started pooling at his temple, his eyes blew wide and his groan was barely contained. An immortal cultivator could handle much worse. He could bare with it then go back home. Go and see Qi-ge... maybe talk... ask the question that had been plaguing him for years. Why? Why would he give him hope and then abandon him? Leave him there.
