hanbyul and the male manager both quickly get off of the car as they have finally arrived. it was a long journey, but also a fun one. the manager keeps cracking some jokes to lighten up the mood. hanbyul felt a bit better than yesterday. her stomachache quickly subside this morning after consuming a few pills. even though she felt slightly better, the manager insisted that she should go for another further inspection in the hospital. she agreed because she did not want to make anything harder than it should be. “come hanbyul, let me send you up, okay?” he said as he grabbed all of her stuff. the manager did a second check in the car to make sure that they did not leave anything important.

both of them walked towards the building. hanbyul slowly trailed behind him. “do you think the members will get mad at me, hyung?” she asked in worried. she did not mind getting yelled at by anyone but not them. hanbyul felt sad whenever they got mad for any reason. she did not want to be the reason why they got mad this time. the male manager sighed, and then he pushed the button of the lift as both of them were standing in front of the lift. sejin looked at the little girl, who seemed nervous out of a sudden. “don’t worry that much, okay?” he said softly. the manager knew that hanbyul hated making another person mad. 

ding! 

the duo quickly gets into the lift with another three staff. hanbyul keeps quiet as she stared at the wall of the lift. the staff who just get into the same lift keep talking to each other. sejin seemed to ignore the staff as well or maybe he was just tired. 
“do you heard what pd bang inform them just now?” one of the staff asked her colleague. they seemed too occupied with their conversation that they did not even care about sejin and hanbyul right behind them. hanbyul did not care about what they were talking about. it was not like her first time to hear the staff talk behind like this. she encountered too many of them. “i think this company is going to bankrupt or something. i heard that he asked the trainee department to cut down new trainees, which means no new trainee going into this company for a while,” the male staff in front of sejin said. “but of course, i do not know if it’s the truth or not. i heard from their head department though,” the male staff continued. 

sejin snorted as he quietly heard what they were talking about. just a rumor, though. “he’s losing too much money anyway. that’s why he did that. i mean i’m not surprised if one day he fired us.” another male staff said. other staff just laughed as they found it’s so funny. “looks like i need to find a new job then. the pay here is not that high either at least i don’t feel regret.” the female staff said. the male staff nodded his head, agreeing with what she has told them.
 
“why don’t you resign your job right now?”

sejin, who looked a bit pissed asked. “i don’t think that our company needs someone like you anyway. our company is having a hard time, but you all, someone who had been earning money from this company said that? how shameless,” three of them just stared at each other before one of them turned his body to face sejin. “easy for you to say because you always kiss pd bang’s ass anyway,” the male staff sarcastically said. the other two staff gasped loudly, the male staff did not know who he was talking to since he is a new staff. 

sejin, on the other hand, tried his best to not get mad and curse that male staff. he knew it is best for him to not do something stupid in front of hanbyul. she’s a kid anyway. “he did not mean it … sejin hyung, don’t mind him.” another male staff said apologetically as he grabbed his colleague closer. “stop it, dude. we are so sorry sejin sunbae.” other female staff exclaimed. she knew it better for them to not play around like this. they didn’t realize it was sejin in the same lift as them since he wore a jacket with a mask on. 

the new staff, of course, not having it with his coworkers not defending him, “what? did i say something wrong? i told you guys the truth. we will get fired anyway.” he said with cockiness. at this point, sejin just ignores that male staff. there is no point to talk to someone like this anyway. “can you stop it? he’s our senior. do you want to die?” the female staff then asked him. “so what-
