Chapter 13

Okay look. I'm sorry for not updating. School is now back in session, and I was a little busy. From this past week, it has been the most depressing week of my life. I felt so sad and had some mood swings. I think it's puberty, or maybe I'm bipolar I don't know really. Anyways, enjoy the chapter!

Hiro's pov

Two days later, it was Monday. I opened my eyes and saw sunlight going through the curtains. I better head to school, I thought. I looked at my alarm clock. It's 8:00. Oh no, school's going to start at 8:30, I better get ready. I quickly got out of bed to do my usual morning routine. Shower, brush teeth, change clothes, eat breakfast, grab my stuff, and head to school. That's my morning routine, well except for the weekends.

"See you later, Aunt Cass." I waved goodbye.

"Hiro! Wait!" Aunt Cass ran to me and handed me a brown paper bag. "It's just a little snack I whipped up for you."

"Oh, thanks Aunt Cass. You're the best." I grabbed the brown paper bag and placed it inside my backpack.

"I know. Have a good day at school." Aunt Cass waved goodbye. Baymax had flew the both of us to SFIT. When me and Baymax stepped foot onto the robotics lab, I saw Yuki. She's so beautiful, I thought to myself.

"Hiro, are you alright?" Baymax said to me, interrupting my thoughts.

"Oh, I'm fine. Let's head to our lab."

"Okay." A couple of minutes later, we were getting closer and closer to our lab. When I stepped inside the lab, Honey Lemon was already inside.

"Honey? What are you doing here in my lab?" I was confused.

"Oh hi Hiro. I was waiting for you. I have some pleasant news for you." Honey Lemon smiled at me.

"Tell me the news." I began setting up.

"Yuki is your neighbor. Which means she's just next door to your lab. That's what I'm implying."

I stopped in my tracks. "Oh. What a surprise."

"I just wanted to let you know, Hiro."

I nodded and Honey Lemon left. "Hiro, do you have a thing for Yuki?"

I jumped in surprise. "W-what? A thing? O-of course not. Why would I be?

"I could tell you have a thing for her because of the way you look at her. Don't deny it, Hiro."

I groaned. "Yes, I admit it. I do have a thing for Yuki. She's such a nerdy genius."

"Then why don't you just ask her out?"

"Well, Baymax, it seems like we're in the friend zone."

"I don't understand with the term, friend zone."

"Friend zone means either one of two people has a romantic interest over the other. But, the other person doesn't feel the same way as the first person. Get it?"

"Ah, I see. Give it a chance, Hiro. I believe Yuki likes you."

"She's clueless! She didn't know the dinner date we had was an actual date, she thought it was just a regular dinner date between two good friends."

"Hiro, have faith in yourself."

"I don't know, Baymax."

"I'm 100% sure she likes you. Oh look, there she is at the door." Baymax was pointing at the doorway. I turned my attention to where Baymax was pointing at. Baymax was right, it was Yuki.

"Hey, Hiro."

"Hey."

Yuki walked towards me. "You know I'm new around here, right? Could you your me around this place?"

"Sure." I nodded. I couldn't take this anymore. I can't. I don't want to stay in the friend zone. I want Yuki to love me.

"Yuki..."

"Yeah?"

"Umm, do you think you can make it tonight?"

"What?"

"I wanted to uh invite you for dinner with me and Aunt Cass."

"Oh, really? I would love to have dinner with you two!"

"That's good. See you tonight?"

"Yup, I'll see you tonight. Now Hiro, give me the tour."

Yes! She said yes! Tonight's the night I'm going to tell her how I feel.
