Chapter 3

Hiro's pov

The next day, it had been Saturday. Me and the gang decided to go to the mall and just cruise around. I got out of bed, and looked at Tadashi's bed. I missed him so much.

*Flashback*

Me and Tadashi was outside of SFIT. We were just talking, until a fire broke out inside of SFIT. I saw my brother, Tadashi.

"Are you ok?" Tadashi asked a lady.

"Yeah. But Professor Callaghan is in there!" The lady yelled. She shortly left.

I looked at Tadashi's eyes and I knew what he was going to do. "No! Don't do this, Tadashi!"

He looked at me. "I have to do this. I'm not giving up. Professor Callaghan is in there."

He ran inside the building. His hat fell off, and I started to run. But then, I heard an explosion. I was sent flying backwards, and I slowly got up. I grabbed Tadashi's hat. And I looked at the building with a sad look. Tadashi is dead. Tadashi is dead. The hat was all I had from him and his invention, Baymax.

*Back to present*

Tears were spilling from my eyes. I wiped them away. Tadashi is gone, Hiro. You have to move on. That's how the world is, Hiro. I got ready and headed downstairs.

I saw Mochi, my cat. "Hello Mochi."

"Meow." Was all Mochi said.

"Good morning, Hiro. Did you sleep well?" My aunt Cass asked me.

"Yeah, I did." I sat on one of the chairs that were near the dining table.

"That's great to hear hun. I made you my special pancakes. Hope you like them!" Aunt Cass told me.

"Thanks." I said.

Baymax walked towards me. "You know, strawberries would be good with pancakes. It's healthy for you."

"I know it's healthy for me, Baymax. I don't want strawberries with my pancakes."

"It helps prevent cancer."

"Whatever." I chewed my food.

"Suit yourself, Hiro." A few minutes later, I finished my food and headed to one of SanFransokyo's malls.

Of course, Baymax is coming with me because just in case something bad happens. I saw Honey Lemon waiting for me outside.

"Hiro! You're here!" Honey Lemon shouted.

I hugged her. "You don't have to be so excited, Honey."

"Well, we haven't been hanging out outside of school."

"You're right."

A few minutes later, The rest of the group appeared.

"So what should we do first?" I said.

"Just check out what's good." Gogo said.

All of us walked into this store called Hot Topic. At first, I thought it was some kind of emo or goth store. But Gogo explained to me what Hot Topic sells. They sell pop culture stuff like anime, Disney, marvel, supernatural, and many more.

I saw a girl looking at the anime section. She had headphones on, but she looked familiar.

I tapped her shoulder and she turned her body to look at me. It was Yuki May. I didn't expect her to be here. "Hi Yuki."

"Oh hi Hiro!" She smiled at me. "I didn't know you like Hot Topic."

"Well, you see, I was just looking around. I don't shop here."

"Oh. Who's with you?"

"I'll call them here, so they can meet you."

"Ok." She nodded.

I called my friends to come to me. They walked up to me. "I would like you guys to meet Yuki May."

"Hi Yuki!" Honey Lemon said.

"Hi!" She replied.

"Yuki, these are my friends. Honey Lemon, Gogo, Wasabi, and Fred."

"Hi I'm Baymax. You're personal healthcare companion."

"It's nice to meet all of you." Yuki said. "I better head out."

"Wait, do you want to come and eat lunch with us at the Lucky Cat Cafe?" I quickly said.

She was quiet for a second. "Yes, I would love to have lunch with you guys."

I jumped. "Yes! Go walk with us!"

"Isn't he excited?" I heard Gogo whisper in Honey's ears.

"Hey!" I frowned.

"We haven't seen you this excited since you found the green card for Baymax. That happened like four months ago." Gogo said.

"I totally agree with her." Fred said.

"Wait what?" Yuki was confused.

"We'll tell you on our way to the cafe." I explained.

"Oh ok. Lead the way, Hiro."
