Chapter 2

Hiro's pov

A few days later, it was the day of the showcase. I was so excited to look at people's inventions. I still wish Tadashi was still with me right now. Baymax had came with us, just in case someone gets hurt. I met Gogo at the entrance of SFIT.

"Hey nerd." She told me.

I rolled my eyes. "I have a name you know. It's Hiro."

"I was teasing you, Hiro." Gogo rolled her eyes. "Let's go inside."

I followed her inside. As soon as I stepped inside, I saw a lot of cool inventions. My eyes lit up.

"Don't be such a little boy."

"Hey!" Did she just made fun of me for being short?!

"I'm sorry, Hiro." Gogo told me.

I sighed. "Whatever."

"Hey you guys!" Honey Lemon waved at us with a huge smile on her face.

"Hi Honey." I greeted.

She gave me a huge hug. "Can't. Breathe."

"Oops, I'm so sorry."

"No, it's ok."

"Aren't you excited, Hiro?!"

"Yeah, I am."

"Well, c'mon! Let's go!" She motioned for me to follow her. I followed her. There were so many more cool inventions. I saw a girl with black hair in a braid.

"Hi. My name is Yuki May." The girl with the side braid said.

"As you can see, I'm holding this thing." She was holding her invention up in the air. "I call it the hover board 9000."

She continued explaining her invention, "you can control it with your mind. You just put on this device on your head."

Yuki put on a head piece on her head. She closed her eyes for a split second, and the hover board started floating. That was cool.

"As you can see, you control this hover board with your mind. Simple, right?" Many people nod.

"I also was going to make one of these hover boards powered by solar energy. It's still a work in progress." Yuki took off the head piece and held the hover board in her arms. Many people clapped. I did too.

"This girl is cool." Gogo whispered in my ear.

"I think so too." I whispered back.

She went down from the stage and was packing up. I saw Alistair Krei. Robert Callaghan told me he wouldn't want me to sell my microbots, instead he would manipulate me. Krei approached Yuki.

"Hello Yuki." Krei said to Yuki.

"Hello sir." She looked up from packing her stuff and stood up. "What is it?"

"I really find that hover board amazing. Tell me, would you like me to sell it? You would make millions of money!"

I jumped in. "Sorry Krei, she isn't interested."

"Wait, what?! "

"Yuki, Krei is just going to manipulate you. You don't want to sell your product." I explained what Krei would actually do to Yuki's invention.

"Sorry, Krei. I wasn't going to sell my invention for making money. I make inventions just to impress people and make the world a better place. You're one of those idiots that are in my way." Yuki responded. "You could take someone else's invention and make a profit out of it instead of me."

"Umm ok then." Krei walked away from me and Yuki.

"Sorry for not introducing myself. My name is Hiro Hamada." I had my hand out for Yuki to shake it.

"Yuki May. It's a pleasure to meet you, Hiro. I heard you made those microbots. I am really impressed with your inventions."

Well someone recognized the microbots. "Thanks. I like your hover board."

"Thanks. I've always wanted to invent stuff that would make the world a better place."

"And why do you believe that?" I questioned her.

"Because I've faced a lot of people that are just complete trash. The world needs to change for once. And it can't just take one person. It has to be many people to change the world." Yuki explained. "You get what I'm saying?"

"Yeah, I do. I never met somebody like you." I honestly said.

"So is that a good thing or a bad thing?"

"Good." I smirked.

"Yuki May, here's something for you." A lady handed an envelope to Yuki. She opened the letter and her eyes went wide.

"I made it!" She squealed and jumped up and down.

"Congratulations." I smiled at her.

"Well, like what I said, it was nice meeting you Hiro." Yuki told me. "I gotta go now."

"I'll see you in school on Monday."

She waved at me and walked off to another direction.

"Who was that girl?" Baymax asked me.

"Her name's Yuki May." I replied.

"She must be a good girl."
