Chapter 54| Our time

The girls agreed as they headed back and got jackets for everyone. Afterwards they started to walk in the cold yet warm lonavala night towards the dhabba.

The street light and store light lit up the path as they walked to the dhabba. Rahul along Angali walked in front as they talked to each other. Behind them Sameer and Ryan walked busy within themselves with their airpods and phone. Preeti, Ahana and Shruti walked behind them talking to each other. Naira was walking next to Ahana holding her hand. Behind them Neil along with his brothers, Sid and Rohan walked with Ansh in Sid's arms and Aryan holding his father's hands.

Ahana looked around the Stores which were still filled with people. It was around 8 at night time. The walk to the dhabba was around 10 mins or so. Thankfully it was a crowded and lit path throughout or it wouldn't be safe to bring the kids out here at night.

Shruti:"If it's this cold here then what would happen by tomorrow when the weather is supposed to be more colder"

Preeti:"but dispite the cold, the area is so beautiful. Sid told me there is a park where they have Gondola lift by the mountains. The view would be soo nice from it. We are gonna visit it tomorrow "

Shruti:"Really? Well atleast Sid tells you what they planned. I asked Rohan 20 times and all he said was "you will see it when we visit the place jaan. just have patience ""

Preeti:"Bhabhi, Sid told me because if he didn't he knows what consequences he has to face later on"( They laughed)

Shruti:"What about Neil? Did he tell you Ahana?"

Ahana:"Well I didn't really ask about it so no?"(She answered causing Preeti and Shruti to laugh)

Naira:"Mumma mumma look"(Naira yelled causing Everyone to turn towards her)

Ahana:"What happened baby?"

Naira:"Mumma see Vabbit (Rabbit)"(Naira pointed at the bushy area where few whites Rabbits were seen running to hide from the people walking by.)

Ansh:"Rabbit?"(Ansh said lifting his head of Sid shoulder )

Neil:"Yes buddy. Want to see them?"( He asked ruffling Ansh's hair who nodded. The rest of Malhotra family stopped as they admired Neil taking Ansh and Aryan near the rabbits along with Sid. Neil picked up on bunny as he patted it gently, even showing the kids. )

Naira:"Mumma I also want to see let's go naaaa"( She said as she pulled Ahana towards Neil. As they reached Near, Naira left Ahana's hands and run towards Neil while Ahana stood behind them at a safe distance admiring them)

Sid:(As He helped Naira pet one bunny in his hands)"Bhabhi why don't you also pet them. They are so cute."

Aryan:"And soft soft. Mumma come na"

Ahana:"No no I am fine here"

Neil:(Keeping the bunny down, he stood up and went closet to Ahana)"Common Ahana, it's fun. Don't tell me you're scared"

Ahana:"I am not... I am not scared of them it's just that..that I like to admire all animals from a safe distance. "

Neil:(Laughed at her explanation while Ahana glared at him)"Common shone. You will love it"

Ahana:"I don't want to love it Neil. Just leave me here na. You go enjoy"(She said as Neil intertwined their hands pulling her closer to the bunny's )

Neil:"Ahana trust me. You will love holding them. okay wait."

Neil sat down by the Bush and pulled Ahana as well. As Ahana started to stand up, he held her hand while with Another he picked up the bunny and kept it in his lap.  As Neil patted the rabbit gently, it snuggled into his warmth. Neil held Ahana's hand and slowly brought it closer to the bunny. She tried to take her hands out of his grip but it was all to vain.
