Chapter 46| Care

After planning for few hours, everyone had their dinner before heading to their own room. Ahana made sure the kids slept before she headed towards her room. As she entered the room as saw Neil coming out of the washroom in his nightwear. He smiled seeing Ahana and Came towards her taking her in a back hug.

Neil:"So much happened today Ahana. But at the end everything was good. Bua ji finally realized her mistakes and apologized for them and we planned a trip. Everyone really needs this trip. Plus it's been a while since we all went out."

Ahana:(Leaning back into his warmth)"Yeah Neil. It will be fun to spend some time with everyone. Plus it been a while since I went out for vacations "

Neil:(Whispering into her ears)"More then a family trip this vacation could also be considered a small honeymoon trip for us. What say?"

Ahana:(Blushed)"H..hone..honeymoon ?"

Neil:"Yeah shona. Honeymoon. See na because of our stubbornness we miss out on our honeymoon"

Ahana:"but...but sid did lock us in a house for...a ..a mini honeymoon "

Neil:"(turning her around in his arms )"oh sweetheart I sure you also know what honeymoon really is and that my love was no where near our honeymoon."

Ahana:(Lowering her eyes as her heart beat raised hearing his talk)"Neil please "

Neil:(in a husky voice)"please what jaan?"

Ahana:"Please stop teasing me"

Neil laughed as Ahana blushed more and hide her face in his chest as he wrapped his arms around her shoulder. They stayed as such for few mins before Ahana started to feel pain in her stomach.  She broke the hug and sat on the bed clutching her stomach when she felt something making her eyes widen as she rushed to the bathroom. Neil looked at her concerned and ran after her but she closed the bathroom door.

Neil:"Ahana are you okay?"

Ahana:"Y..yeah just give me 10 mins"(He heard her voice from inside)

After 15 mins Ahana  came out of the bathroom in her regular night wear of a lose tshirt and and lower. Neil, who sat On the bed waiting for her, stood up and rushed towards her. Ahana was still clutching her hands over her stomach as she walked a bit slowly.

Neil:"Ahana"(He asked in a worried tone)

Ahana looked into his eyes. He looked at her pained expression then his eyes wondered towards her stomach which she was clutching by her hand. Neil looked at her understanding the problem. Ahana nodded her head as if telling him he is right. Just in seconds she was picked up in a bridal form and Neil layed her on the bed.

Neil:"You stay here I'll be back"(Ahana saw Neil leave the room and come back after few mins with hot pad and hot milk in his hands.)"Here"

Neil helped Ahana sit up as he gave her medicine from the drawer next to the bed, followed by the hot milk to help with her pain. After having the medicine,  Ahana layed down as Neil placed the hot pad on her stomach to help soothe her period pain.

Ahana:"Thank you Neil.(Neil just kissed her forehead as he held her hand while she waited 30 mins for the pain to reduce)"It's good it came today. I'll be free before the vacation "

Neil:(nodded)"Is it better now?"

Ahana:"A little"

Neil:"did it come early this time? Last time I remember it was supposed to come on Friday. Today is Monday "

Ahana:"Yeah maybe due to....to stress I think"(She said pausing in between as her cramps came back for few moments )

After few mins her stomach pain calmed down and she relaxed a bit. She asked Neil to switch of the lights and join her. Neil slide next to her and slowly wrapped his arms around her body making sure not to pressure her stomach.  Ahana smiled as she heard soft snores after few mins. Ahana looked at his hand which rested on her stomach and remember the first time she had her period with Neil around. It was few weeks after their marriage.
