Chapter 24| Bowling

Neil:(Changing the topic )"Well bowling it is."

Few mins of drive and they were at a bowling area. Neil booked a bowling alley for 2 hours. As the two changed their shows into bowling shows, They headed to their assigned alley.

Ahana:"You go first "(Neil nodded as he positioned himself as he bowled. He got a strike on the first go)

Neil:"Your turn."

Ahana nodded as she stepped forward and took the ball. She took a breath in as she rolled the ball. Midway through the roll, her bowl went to the side of the alley and hit no pin.

Ahana:(Making a bad face)"See I suck"

Neil:(Laughs)"Because ur not aiming it correctly. Do u know why they have these dots and arrows for"(He said pointing at the ground. Ahana nodded no)"To help you aim. Your supposed to roll in a straight line on those dots and arrows to get the ball to roll where u want it to."

Ahana:"Wait let me try again"(She when and picked up another ball and started to roll it following what Neil said only to be stopped by him)

Neil:"Ahana wait.."(He came and stood behind her talking her hand in his as she positioned her aim at the middle)"Now swing it."(He whispered as Ahana followed his lead while he guided her bowling the ball.)

She closed her eyes and slowly peeked from one eye to see the ball hit all the pins as they start to fall one by one. She squealed in excitment as she turned around to see Neil standing very close to her. They both didn't realize their position until they looked in each other eyes. Snapping out of it, they continued the game. Soon as the game proceeded Ahana slowly became better at it.

It's has been about few hours of them playing games. Though Neil won all of them, Ahana stilled learned alot which in her mind was a win for sure.

Ahana:(As they settled on the couch near the alley taking their shoes off)"Oh we are so coming back here. And I am bring the kids also next time. You know Ansh loves bowling. I couldn't bring him because I myself sucked at this but now I can"(She said the last part smiling )

Neil:"Well all thanks you ur incredible teacher huh"(He said with a smirk)

Ahana:"Yes Thank you Mr. incredible Teacher"(She said folding her hands in front of him as a teasing gesture )

They laughed as they headed towards the main counter to return the shoes. As Neil was talking to the reception guy about something Ahana stood nearby busy on her phone waiting for him, When she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned to see her college Friend and a man with her.

Ahana:(Shocked )"Shruti..(hugging her)"Omg when did u come back from london"

Shruti:"1 Year back. "

Ahana:"You idiot why didn't u call me"

Shruti:"I didn't have ur number yaar. By the way meet husband Punit"

Ahana:"Hi.."

Shruti:"How is Ansh ?"

Ahana:"He is good ac.."(She was cut of as Neil joined them)

Neil:(With a small smile )"Hi.."(Shruti looked confused )

Ahana:"Ahh Shruti mee my husband Neil and Neil by college friend Shruti and her husband Punit"

Neil:"Hi.."

Punit:"Wait your Neil Malhotra right? The business man"

Neil:"Yeah"

Punit:"Heard alot about you"

Shruti:"You remarried and didn't even tell me?"

Ahana:"everything happend so far that I didn't have time. "
