Chapter 47| Fair

Next morning came by soon, sunlight hit Ahana's face as she pulled the blanket over her head. She turned towards Neil's side to snuggles into him only to find emptiness. A frown came upon her face as she looked around and couldn't find him. She picked up her phone to check the time and freaked out seeing it of already 9:30.

Ahana:"9:30! Shit shit shit. How can I sleep in so late. The kids have school. why didn't my alarm went of "(She started to get up in a rush when she saw Neil entering the room with a tray of breakfast in his hands)"Neil? You didn't go to office ? Why didn't you wake me up? The kids! I should..."(She was cut of in the middle by a small perk on the lips from Neil)

Neil:(Keeping the tray on the table near the sofa)"Calm down Shona. Everything is fine. The kids have already left for school. I will go after lunch."

Ahana:"But my alarm it didn't "

Neil:"I know I know. I switched it off. Ahana you woke up at 4 last night and couldn't sleep till 5 because of the discomfort. I thought to let you rest. Now no more questions. You go and freshen up while I'll wait then we can have breakfast together "

Ahana nodded as she headed to the restroom to freshen up and take a bath. After 30 mins she came out to see Neil sitting on the sofa doing something on his phone. Ahana went and settled next to him. Neil kepts his phone down and looked up at her with a smile.

Neil:"Here"(He said as he fed her the first piece of breakfast)

They both enjoyed breakfast by feeding each other and sharing some cute moments. After finishing their breakfast,  Neil got a msg from Office saying they have a urgent meeting in an hour so he decided to head to office.

Neil:(As he came out dressed in office clothes)"Shona I gotta go and are you feeling better today? Or should we cancel  the evening plan?"

Ahana:(confused)"Evening plan?"

Neil:"You forgot ? We promised the kids to take them to the fair today. "

Ahana:"Oh yeahhh. No don't cancel the plan they have been waiting for a week to go. I... I'll be fine. I'll take the medicine."

Neil:"You sure?"

Ahana:"Yes Neil positive. "

Neil:"Alright then I'll text you at 6. Be ready "

Ahana:"Yeah"

Neil:"Bye"(He said as he perked her lips and left )

The whole day went by quickly. The men of the house stayed back at office for lunch so Preeti had to go and deliver their lunch to Malhotra industries. Around 2, Ahana along with Shruti, went to pick the kids up from school. The kids were very excited for the evening plan. Around 4, Ahana's stomach cramps were back. Though she expected this because her medicine only stops the pain for about 12 hours. She took another medicine and layed down to feel better. After the pain had gone, Ahana got the kids ready and herself also changed into a white top and black Jeans.

Around 6, Neil's messaged Ahana to take out his casual clothes and have a quick snack ready so he can just change and eat quickly before they head of to their destination.

Aryan:"Mumma when will papa come"

Ahana:"He will be here soon Aryan. Until then see if Naira and Ansh wore their shoes "(Aryan nodded running off to his room while Neil entered the house. He quickly perked Ahana's forehead before heading to his room to change. After few mins he came down dressed in the white tshirt and black pants Ahana had taken out.)

Neil:"Ready?"(He asked Ahana who nodded just as the kids ran out, All 3 of them wearing the combination of white and black)

Shruti:"Wow, Everyone is matching matching "
