-'•Sebastian's POV•'-

Blair squealed as Nyx thrashed at her neck as they fell to the stone ground.

I couldn't move I was so in shock- unmoving in my seat, mouth open slightly.

My sister looked so helpless, so unlike her whole demeanour she usually puts on for show.

Nyx was growling, black magic swirling around
him like thick smoke, his eyes violet-blue, his normal eyes.

The guards couldn't get past his barrier, they kept coughing and reeling away.

Yes Nyx. I thought happily- finally being able to move out of my seat- watching from a distance away from the smoke.

Until Blair sent a blast of her magic- sending him spiralling to the opposite wall.

"You..." She snarled- standing up from where she was tackled to the ground, brushing her dark dress off. Her hair was static and knotted, due to Nyx pulling at it.

I quickly glanced at Nyx- he didn't move from where he was sprawled across the stone floor- no, no, no.

"Sebastian..." Growled Blair from here she stood, pure fury and loathing through her features. "Cut him up."

I kept my face neutral, but my heart started to bang through my chest.

What do I do, what do I do, what do I do.

"Are you dawdling, CUT HIM UP!" Blair practically screeched, walking up to me quickly and grabbing my cheek and chin with her long talons.

"Are you disobeying me too, Seb." She said slowly and menacingly- dark eyes searching mine.

Shit. What if she can see through me?

I eased my panic down and just stared at her, neutral.

All the guards started rushing up- about to grab Nyx as he lay there-

"Leave him." Blair snapped, glancing behind her. "I said I want Sebastian to cut him up, if I remember correctly."

The guards nodded, no words, and walked off to their posts again, no more alarm apparently to be had.

"Come on, Sebastian." She sneered- taking my arm and pulling me along. I nearly shivered at her bony white arm and hands grabbing mine.

We walked around the table we sat at- which now looked disheveled, over to sprawled Nyx on the cold floor.

"Now, here." Blair said- reaching into her dress, pulling out a long, silver sharp knife.

How did she hide that in there? But there you go, that's my sister. Dare devil- you could even name her the devil itself.

The knife glinted in the light- I wanted to shy away.

I can't do it. I won't do it.

She grabbed my hand and placed the hilt of the knife into my palm.

"Go on." She whispered persuasively. "He's not one of us- he never will be." Her voice tickled my ear as she kept on and on with her persuasive speech.

Before I could even act, even think of what to do next- Nyx started to stand-a strand of hope within me again.

Until I saw those eyes again..

and dammit-

they were coal black.

-'•Linetta's POV•'-

"Father.." I said quietly- standing up out of my chair facing him.

"Are you alright?"

He looked to the ground as he asked- not wanting to meet my eyes.

His hair was longer than I last saw him- it now hung to his shoulders. He had golden stubble growing around his chin and cheeks, making him look much older than he is. He never does that unless he's really really depressed, like when my mother died.

His green eyes looked sad, rather than the usual 'angry' bright look.

I nodded- avoiding looking at him too. "Yes, I'm okay."

"What did she make you-"

"Why are you here?" I suddenly snapped- coming out of the soppy 'reunion.'

"I came here to get help, Linetta."

"But why here? I thought you weren't on the best terms with the Night Court, you were even trying to rally courts against them." I said in disbelief. "I now know why you were doing that." I added grudgingly- scowling.

"Look-" My father started angrily.

"Take this outside, please." Rhysand ordered. "I would like to carry on talking about getting my son back."

"Yes, so would I-"

"You need to speak to your Father, Linetta." Feyre said softly. "I made many mistakes avoiding my problems, so my advice is just to get it over with now."

I bit my lip in frustration, but then nodded, walking out the door- leaving it open for my Father to follow through.

~*~

It was deadly quiet in the hall, my father stood awkwardly in front of me- next to one of Feyre's glorious paintings.

"Why were you working with her?" I finally said, angrily. "You have made this mistake before."

"I'll always choose the wining side." He shrugged- pretending not to care about his bad choice.

"The wining side that almost had your daughter killed." I countered- looking at him with disgust. "She had me do trials, just like your ex-fiancé-"

"I know." He breathed, haggard. "You think I don't care about that? You think I would let something of Hybern do that again?"

"Huh?" I replied, confused- frowning.

He's never sounded like this before.

"Why did you think I disappeared?" He asked me like it was obvious. "I came to get help."

"You- you- you wouldn't do that?" I stated in disbelief.

Tamlin scowled angrily at me- his green eyes piercing through mine- his exact replica. "Why wouldn't I? For my own daughter?" He asked in outrage- his cheeks flushing with annoyance, just like always.

"You don't act like that all the time." I accused, looking away from his face.

He snorted- actually smiling slightly. Sometimes I wonder if he has many personalities, something he can't control. "You have the same temper as Rohesia."

My mother's name- something he utters rarely.

"How do you even remember?" I scoff. "You hardly speak of her."

Suddenly my father's face turned red, angry again.

"Linetta-"

"I need to go back in." I interrupted- cutting him off. I turned away, grabbing the door handle. "I need to bring the one person I love back home."

And with that, I stepped back in to the meeting again.
