Nico and Annabeth were like siblings. They had always cared for each other, and if someone messed with the other, they would probably rip off that someone's eyeballs out. And though siblings fought often, these two didn't. But when they did fight,

It gets really intense.

"Check."

"That's the best you can do, Di Angelo?"

She flicked off his king piece with her knight, "Boom. I won. Again."

He scowled, "Shut up."

"Rematch?"

"No. I'm gonna cuddle." He got up and sat next to Will, who immediately wrapped his arms around the scowling son of Hades.

"Aww. Afraid to lose again?" She teased.

"Please, I can win easily. And now I'm cuddling. You don't have your cuddling partner with you."

It was now her turn to scowl, "He's out shopping. I'll soon have my cuddles." She stuck out her tongue at him.

"I'll soon have my cuddles." He mimicked in a high pitched voice, and Annabeth flipped him off, before walking away.

---

"Where are you taking me? I'm tired, Wise girl." Percy whined at his girlfriend, who rolled her eyes fondly at him.

"I told you we're gonna cuddle soon. Just be patient."

They walked towards Will and Nico, who were still peacefully wrapped in each other's arms.

"Now I have my cuddler." She smirled at Nico. He turned towards her, his expression nonchalant, and his eyes fell on Percy.

"I've been cuddling longer." He said, and turned back to Will.

She rolled her eyes, and her and Percy got comfortable on the couch.

"What are you doing here? Go cuddle somewhere else!" Nico glared at her.

"Sorry, man. No can do."

"This is so unfair. This is our couch. We are cuddling."

"We are cuddling, too!

He scoffed, "I've been cuddling ever since I was like, fourteen. I'm two years ahead of you."

"Please, you were like, 80 or something when you had your first boyfriend. I was sixteen." She smirked.

"Well, actually-"

"Actually, I win. I'm smart, you're not."

He laughed without humor, "Wow. I don't think even you can build something bigger than your ego."

She gaped, before closing her mouth. "I admire how confident you are after losing five games out of seven."

He looked at her, and calmly said, "Fuck you."

"Right back at ya."

---

"You guys coming? We have enough seats." Frank asked.

"Nah, man. I just got back from shopping." Percy made a face, "Finding the right diapers is hard."

"Me neither. I like staying in." Annabeth yawned.

Nico just shook his head.

Will raised a hand, "Actually, I'd like to get out for a while." Nico frowned and snuggled closer to him. Will looked down, smirking slightly, "Or not."

"Okay, then. See ya." Frank waved, and the four of them were alone again.

A few minutes passed, the silence suffocating them.

"Wow, talk about awkward tension." Percy chuckled.

"Yeah...it was just a simple game, you guys." Will looked at the shorter ones of the two couples, and both of them glared at him.

"Just a game? JUST a game?!" Annabeth yelled.

"It was NOT just a game. It tests your thinking skills." Nico crossed his arms.

"Okay, nerds." Percy laughed, only to shut up as he saw two pairs of glowering eyes, glaring at him.

Annabeth looked back and forth between the two, before saying, "Maybe you two should play a game."

Nico nodded. "Yeah. You'll know the importance of chess atleast then."

Percy and Will looked at each other, and shrugged.

"Okay. We're gonna show you to not let a silly game ruin our friendship." Will smiled smugly.

"Enough talking."

"Okay."

---

"THAT IS NOT FAIR!"

"Can the bishop even move that way?"

The room was filled with screams and curses, as the two boys moved the peices without even thinking.

Meanwhile, Nico and Annabeth were laughing, silently fist bumping as they ate popcorn.

And since they were busy doing that, they missed the passing smirks between Will and Percy, happy that their plan worked.

---

"Hey," Nico nudged Annabeth lightly. "I'm sorry I said you had a big ego. I didn't mean it."

She chuckled, "No, you're right. I do have a big ego. And I'm sorry, too, you know. You're very smart." They smiled at each other, and just like that, they were back to being best friends.

---

Heya! I know this isn't really Percabeth, but I just wanted to write something about Nico and Annabeth's friendship, even though it's crappy. We dont see much of them together, but the few moments we got was very cute, and I really do think that Nico and Annabeth think of each other as their sibling.

Anyway, thanks for reading!
