Jongin POV:
I opened the door to the house and came in. I saw her sitting at the living room and I sat beside her.
"You're back?" I nodded.
"Soo Kyung-ah..." She looked at me.
"Can I call you that?"
"It's up to you."
"Soo Kyung-ah, can we talk comfortably? I mean... you said we're friends, right? Then let's be a close friend. How about it?"
"Wait, what's with this suddenly?"
"Just because... we're living under the same roof now and we've settled all our misunderstandings. We can consider close, right?" She looked towards the television. I sighed dissapointly and was about to get up.
"Okay." I looked at her.
"What... What did you just say? Did you just say okay? Then, you agreed?" She nodded without turning her face. I screamed inside my heart joyfully.
"Then, I'm going to cook dinner for us. Is there anything you would like to eat?"
"Whatever you cook, I'll eat it." I smiled and went to the kitchen.

"But... aren't you older than me? Then, should I call you oppa?" She suddenly asked and I coughed.
"Okay, if that's comfortable with you."
"Then oppa. I'm going to start working tomorrow. You know it, right?" I nodded.
"Are you coming?"
"Where to?"
"Sheesh, I already bet that you forgot about it. Tomorrow is also the emerging of our two families company. There's going to be a ceremony."
"But, I'm busy with my comeback."
"Ah, right. Alright then. It's okay. I'll manage by myself. I'm going to sleep now as tomorrow is going to be a long day." She went upstairs. I smirked and turned off the television then went to my room too.
Soo Kyung POV:
I arrived in front of the building and got out of the car welcomed by all of the workers. I'll be reporting as the president first and after that, the emerging ceremony will start.
"Thank you, my daughter for willing to inherit our family business." Appa said while hugging me. I hugged him back.
"It's what I should do."
"Let's go downtairs now." I nodded and followed appa to the lift to go downstairs. Guests and reporters already started to filling out the lobby of our company's building. We got up on the stage where Mr. Kim and Mrs. Kim were standing. I bowed to them and faced all the audience.
"Annyeonghaseyo, firstly, I want to say thank you for everyone who are willing to take some time to witness this historical moment for both Shin and Kim Group. I'm going to introduce myself first. I'm Shin Soo Kyung, president of Shin Group. Next, we won't waste any time and proceed to the ceremony. " I stepped back to stand with my parents and parents-in-law. There's a ribbon in front of us and the workers gave us a scissor each a person.
" 1,2,3."I counted and all of us cut the ribbon.

I got into my room for a break. I sat down on my comfortable chair and sighed relieved. Someone knocked on the door.
" Come in. "I said without turning the chair towards the door.
" Two companies are emerging and also throw a big ceremony but the president is sitting in her room? "I turned towards the familiar voice.
" Sannie! Why are you here? "I stood up shocked and went to him.
" I came to see you. Congratulations. "He handed me a bouquet of flower.
" Thank you. Have a sit first. "I put the flower beside and sat on the sofa with him. He looked around my office.
" It seems like it's not a loss for you to leave my company. It's contradict of that. "
" What are you saying? Tch... "
" Well... I'm relieved to see you doing well. By the way, where is your husband?"
"Jongin oppa? He's busy with his work."
"Jongin oppa? *chuckle* You seems okay with him, huh? Wae? Already change your mind?"
"It's not like that! It's just we're friends now so why not?"
"Arasseo." He looked away from me but I know he's laughing at me right now.
"How about you?"
"I'm good. Company is also doing well. For your information, we're not struggling at all after you left."
"Tch... Arrogant." I rolled my eyes.
"But that's not what I'm talking about. You should find someone too."
"Who are you to tell me that?"
"I know that I'm not in a position telling you that but you're my best friend, Sannie... I hope you're happy. And maybe if I can't do that myself, you can prove me wrong."
"I..."
"You're still waiting for her?" He looked down.
"Are you sure she will come back?"
"She promised it so she must come back. If not, I will find her no matter what."
"Ooooo~~~~uri Sannie..."
"But Soo Kyung-ah, I think you should try it too. Well, you have a husband and I don't think he's a bad guy. Try to open your heart. Maybe one day, you can also get happiness. Not every guy are the same, Soo Kyung-ah... You need to know that."
"I know..."

I was drinking with all the board directors and guests who came for the night party. After a while, I excuse myself for some air. Suddenly someone touched my shoulder. I turned around and saw a man holding a flower covering his face. I took the flower to see his face and was shocked.
"Oppa?! You said you're busy."
"I didn't say that I would be busy all day. Moreover, I need to take care of you. What if you drunk like last time?" I looked away as I felt embarrassed.
"Then, should we go there? I didn't greet our moms and dads yet." I nodded and followed him while holding the flower he gave.
"Jongin-ah ! When did you arrive?" His eomma asked as soon as she saw him.
"Just now, eomma." I went to stand beside him and they all saw the flower I'm holding.
"What a son... He arrived and searched for his wife first instead of his parents. That's why they said you will lose your son after he's married."
"Aniya, eomma. I'm just worried of her drinking too much." I chuckled at the sight of their mom-son relationship. I looked at my parents and they just continued drinking like nothing happened around them.
Well, I never expected anything from them. I've been used to it. When I thought back, there wasn't any time where my family all sat down and talked happily with each other. Everytime we all sat down together at one place, it's because of business or something important only.
What's a happy family defined as? Is it the family who can provide you anything you want? Or a family where you can talk about anything comfortably?
