Kai POV:
"Are you ready?" Manager-nim asked me. I nodded and got up the stage. The camera started clicking. I bowed.
"Annyeonghaseyo, EXO Kai imnida. Today, I want to clarify one thing that all of the fans have been curious about. Just one sentence. Yes, I'm married." Everyone in the hall seems shocked.
"I'm sorry for keeping this from all of you but I had my personal reasons. Since things have come to this, I'll just make it public. Hope everyone can continue to give us your love and support. Kamsahabnida." I bowed and got off the stage. I can hear many questions being throwed by the reporters but the company advised me not to answer any of it. It's already stirring up troubles after the announcement made.
Soo Kyung POV:
The television suddenly aired a sudden press conference. I saw him in the television and heard all the things he said. The title also changed to 'Second EXO member to be announced married'.
"So this is the work he had to do. He didn't even discuss with me before doing this!" I heard the sound of his car getting into the porch. I went to open the door. He smiled as he saw me.
"Are you waiting for me?" I crossed my arms.
"We need to talk." I went inside onto the sofa. He closed the door and sat beside me.
"You watched it?"
"What else?"
"It's not that I don't want to tell you first but I really think we need to do this. Sooner or later, we'll make it to the public. Since people started to dig into it, better we came up and confront about it right?"
"Sooner or later? Until when do you think we'll stay like this? Don't you ever thought before you tell the whole world what if we divorce one day?"
"You... What are you saying right now? Why will we divorce? Aren't we doing good now?"
"Yeah, as friends I can guarantee but our marriage, I don't have any confidence in it."
"What confidence? We even have a child now. The one you're carrying is my child! Is that not enough to make you believe in this relationship?"
"This child? Tch! It's what my mom always wanted not what I want!"
"What are you saying? Are you saying you don't want this child at all?"
"Aniya, I want it."
"Then, it's all settled. I already made it public and you also want this child so we're going to continue our life just like other married couples."
"Don't you understand?! My mom always wanted an heir and now we have it, she won't interfere with my life anymore. After that, I can do anything I want including divorcing you. After all, love is not important. The most important is our family got an heir. "
" I understand. A woman like you don't have any feelings at all! It's up to you what you wanna do. I don't wanna care anymore! " He left. I sighed heavily as my heart felt hurt. Suddenly, I felt like throwing up so I ran to the bathroom.
" Aish, I hate this. Why do I need to suffer just to make everyone satisfied?! No one is with me, just me putting up with this all alone. Until when I should put up with all this shit?!"
Jongin POV:
I parked the car in the basement and went up the lift to our dorm. I opened the door and everyone were looking at me as they were watching television in the living room.
" You're back, Jongin? Is your matter settled? " Suho hyung asked.
"Yeah, everything's settled so I guess I'll back to continue our activities." They all nodded and focused back on the movie they were watching. I went up to my room and laid on the bed. I looked at the picture beside my bed.
"How can I melt your cold heart, Soo Kyung-ah...?" Without realizing, tears started to flow out of my eyes. The door swung open. I quickly wiped my tears and sat down on the bed.
"Just cry. It's not embarassing at all." Chen hyung said and closed the door behind him.
"Aniya... Just some dust got into my eyes. I guess I haven't clean this room in a long time. I rarely come back here too." He sat beside me on the bed and touched my shoulder.
"You can lie to others but not me. Tell me, did you quarrel with her?" I looked at him.
"I don't know if it can be considered a quarrel or not. Since the start, it's only my imagination. I thought she's already accepting me but no. Do you know what she said to me today?" I stopped and he didn't say any words.
"She said the child is what her mom wanted. I knew it from the start about her family but I can't believe that she will be so cruel."
"Jongin - ah... Last time, you told me about how she doesn't believe in love because of her family too right?" I nodded.
"Since it's a family problem, she must have endured it for long. All we have to do is to heal her. Pull her out of the dark memories she's been living in. In short, try give her a feeling of family's love that she's been longing for." I nodded as I absorbed every things he just said.
" Gomawo, hyung for always being there for me. "
" Don't mention it. I already went through the life of marriage so I should know more about you. I got to learn that in marriage, we men should learn more about our partners because they women always have some fantasies in their relationship. So, we have to think like they think to be able to live together forever. Alright, rest well tonight. We still have a long day tomorrow. " I nodded. As he was about to leave, a thought rushed into my mind.
" Hyung... Should I go back there tomorrow? Well, I'm worried about her. I said some harsh words to her and I'm afraid she's feeling distressed. "
" Yeah, I think you should. She's still in early stage so her mind is very important."
"Alright. Gomawo, hyung. Good night." He nodded and closed the door as he left.
