I did not like the way Vlad was looking at me. It was like he knew something. I shuddered then he looked over to my mom and I liked that even less. Vlad was a predator. I just knew it and I heard Phantom hiss from inside my head and immediately agreed with him. Vlad was bad news. I narrowed my eyes at him as he spoke "Madeline! Jack! So wonderful to have you over. It's been so long." I watched as he smiled and my dad hugged him and he frowned and that's when I saw it. I swore his eyes flickered red. I shivered and a blue mist escaped my mouth causing me to blink and Phantom answered Ghost sense. It's how I detect other ghost's and help my holder detect their charges. I was surprised. How many powers did Phantom have? I have many. Somehow I was not surprised. I sighed then I noticed I had been left behind and rushed to catch up with my family. "Sorry! I got distracted." Vlad nodded "That is alright Daniel." I frowned feeling a shiver go up my spine when he said my name. I wished I could just leave but something told me Vlad wouldn't let me so I resigned myself to my fate and listened half-heartedly while he explained his mansion to me and my family and merely followed around till we got to the rooms and I just went to bed. I needed to talk to Phantom. I didn't trust Vlad and I needed a way to end this trip fast.
