Third Person's POV:

Goofy and Pete are having a party for the four high school graduates.

Max, PJ, Bobby, and (Y/N) were in the backyard of the Goof household, skating while PJ was cycling around. Bobby was roller skating by the training cones, as Max and (Y/N) were using the ramp to practice their skateboarding skills.

The teenagers stopped what they were doing and rested on the ramp.

"Do you realize going off to college means no more well-meaning but totally smothering, overprotective, doting, 'ah-hyuck'ing dads?" Max stated, sitting next to the (H/C) haired girl.

"Yeah, well yours at least." PJ continued as he played with the tire of his bike, "My dad's been counting down the days until he can turn my bedroom into a bowling alley."

"Don't worry, guys. We'll definitely have a surefire way to shoot straight to the top of the freshman heap!" (Y/N) said, standing up as Bobby and Max stood up from their places as well.

"The college X-Games!" All four of them shouted, throwing their fists in the air.

"First freshman team to win it all!" PJ then stands up.

"First team to boot those number one Gammas on their bootays!" Bobby said as he started to shake his butt, making (Y/N) giggle.

The four of them gathered on the grass and gave each other excited smiles, "The Gammas may be five-time winners but I hope they're ready for a losing streak!"

"Let's beat the Gammas!" They all put their hands in the middle and threw them up, "Let's do it to it!"

Goofy looks over at the four of them as they high-fived each other, whooping in joy and excitement. A look on his face contrasting the looks on the teenagers' faces.

He then walks towards Pete, leaning on the small table near him.

"Gawrsh Pete. One day you're changing their diapers and the next thing you know, growing up and leaving for college."

"Well Goof, the way I see it, it's my last night of babysitting and I'm a free man! Oh yeah! Free, free, free I tell ya!" Pete yells in joy, "Come on son! I can't miss you if you won't leave!" He bellowed in laughter, not noticing the almost depressed look on Goofy's face.

"Yeah... Free.."

"Hey! Why don't you get the kids? Food's almost ready."

Goofy walked over to the teens and watched Max and (Y/N) skate on the ramp with them. "Ooh! (Y/N) and Maxie's pretty good at that boarding stuff!"

"Thanks Mr. Goof!" She grinned as her (H/L)(H/C) hair flew behind her.

"They are totally gonna kill at college." Bobby said, continuing to watch the two do tricks.

Goofy looked worried at first but then held a confused look.

Max and (Y/N) skated down to their friends and high-fived with each other.

"Now listen son," Goofy started as he walked towards Max, the smile on the boy's face faltering. "That there X-Games fiddle-faddle maybe all will and fun, but remember you're going off to college to make something of yourselves."

"Exactly!"

(Y/N) knows that what her best friend was thinking wasn't the same as what his father was.

"You'll get a degree and the world will be your clam!"

The girl's raised an eyebrow, "Uh I think you meant oyster, Mr. Goof."

"Oh no thanks, sweetie. I'm saving room for weenies!" Goofy led the four of them to where there was a stake on the ground with horseshoes next to it. "Let me show you kids what I mean."

"Oh no... Not the old horseshoe lecture.." PJ groaned, sitting down next to Bobby.

"What's the horseshoe lecture?" (Y/N) asked, looking at the boys.

"You'll see, (Y/N). You'll see..." Max huffed, sitting next to her on the ground.

"You see, tossing horseshoes is a lot like how life works." The horseshoe that was once around Goofy's finger flew towards Pete's direction, landing on the mashed potatoes.

"Sorry Pete." Goofy looks at him then back to the children. "Like I was saying--"

"It's about staying focused on your goals..." Max, PJ, and Bobby said in unison, bored expressions on their faces.

(Y/N) looks at them in confusion, 'I guess they always get to hear this lecture.'

"Right! You see (Y/N), every once in a while, life gives you an important tossin' opportunity. Like, uh, college for instance!"

He looks at the four of them through the horseshoe as he turns to the side. "If you want that diploma, you gotta fix both eyes on it like it was this here horseshoe stake."

(Y/N) looks to her left side and sees that Max isn't listening or even looking at his father.

She grabs his hand, making him look at their hands then to her. She gives him a smile, trying to lighten up his mood which resulted in a very flushed Max.

The (H/C) haired girl then looked back at Goofy, not caring whether if she should let go of Max's hand or not. Much to his delight.

"And with the proper consecration and follow-through..." Goofy trailed on, calculating on how to throw the horseshoe in his hand.

"Come on! Throw it will ya?!" Pete yelled, frustrated.

He finally throws the horseshoe towards the tree, "You should hear the clang of a ringer!"

The horseshoe then flies up hitting a nest, past the leaves, onto the rooftop and rolls down the drainage pipe, eventually hitting the stake.

(Y/N)'s eyes widened and was about to clap when there was a tug on her hand, she looks at Max who was motioning for her to follow him to the table where the food is ready.

Goofy continues to cheer until he turns around to see that the kids aren't there anymore.

"Hey Goof! It's getting cold already!" He turned around to Pete and see the teens are eating.

"Hey! Save a weenie for me!" Goofy shouts as he rushes towards them.

"Hey Peej, isn't 10 hotdogs enough?! Come on pass them over here." Max said, grabbing two hotdogs for him and (Y/N).

"Thanks Max." She said as she grabbed it from him, their fingers touching for a second.

"Y-yeah! You're welcome, (N/N)." Max quickly taking a bite out of his food, hiding his blushing face.
